Fish free!
I feed this to my little Winnie because she has a fish allergy. I can't tell you how painstaking it is to find food for cats that has no fish or fish oil in it. Many other brands offer poultry flavors but they still have fish oil as an ingredient. She was itchy and pulling hair out on her hind end. Vet recommended this for her, as well as the grain free poultry flavor kibble made by this brand. She is doing much better now and her fur is coming back nice and thick. And the best part is, she loves the food. It actually smells a lot better than most wet cat food. The size is perfect for Winnie and her brother to share a can for their afternoon meal. This price is better than I can find at the local pet store, and it comes right to my door, eliminating a trip which in turn saves me mileage on my car and the gas to get there. I love this product, please don't ever change the recipe. My Winnie is counting on you 🥺

Kitty loves this food
My kitty lives for this food and enjoys it with its balance of moisture in the liquid and food. It’s good quality shreds with a texture he loves and prefers. Its color resembles what it would be as meat and its smell is not off putting.

Mikey Likes It!
Our two fluffy orange boys have been a struggle to appropriately feed from the moment we adopted them. Previously I had always had bengals and hybrid cats, so besides some ingredient restrictions, feeding them was never an issue. I didn't swap brands around much, but they were more than eager to eat anything we put down for them. These babies? They are full on cat-cats, and are beyond picky. Treats and Churus? Game on. Food? Nope! Even when tiny kittens, they didn't want to touch the wet foods we'd put down. They were content with dry food, but I wanted them to have a balanced diet with more hydration. By the time we had tried nearly every wet kitten food on the market and narrowed it down to one specific flavor and texture they liked, it was time to move onto adult food and the battle started all over again. Of course they didn't like the adult version of the only thing they'd ever eat! I have tried so many different types, and at least narrowed down textures and flavors they'll accept. No paté, no chunks, no strips, no broth. They'll lick up the gravy from a food, and leave the remnants. They'll snub poultry, and want fish: preferably salmon, but tuna is okay. I had finally found a food that they would eat, but it was limited ingredient to the extreme: basically just chunks of tuna/salmon in gravy. They were still mostly wasting the meat, and honestly I didn't want them eating pure tuna every day because of mercury. They needed something more balanced, so every time we went to the pet store, I'd grab a couple of cans of a new brand or formula we hadn't tried yet. And within their texture and flavor demands, of course. Every time it was like I was throwing my money away. We have donated so much food to our local shelter, it's like we were their supplier. Our last trip to the pet store, again browsing, I had thought I had tried everything, and then I saw these cans and was surprised I had overlooked the Wellness Core line before. I had regularly fed my previous cats Wellness and liked the high quality for the price point. It was actually one of the first brands I tried with these boys for adult food, so I wasn't optimistic but it was worth the shot. Imagine my shock when they went crazy for the tuna and shrimp! I'd never seen them so concentrated on eating, staying at their bowls until they were near empty. Even with the stuff they were okay with, they'd sniff, walk away, and get around to it later. I was overjoyed that we finally found a food they truly liked and would eat, and one that also came in the big cans so we can just split one at meals, less waste, and a better value too. I think the texture is just right for them: not too thick or thin. The next night we tried the tuna and salmon: Success! I could almost weep I was so happy for them finally, after two years, to willingly eat a wet food. It's truly a miracle, and I'm so happy that I can buy this combo of cans in bulk now. Thank you, Wellness!

Very shiny fur no shedding with this food
My cat no longer sheds any hair and has no down there after eating this food however this food is very expensive I just have one smaller cat and it cost me $60 a month to feed her but now she won't eat anything else and it has definitely improved her skin and fur and also she was overweight and I was able to feed her less and she is losing weight and seems satisfied in fact she comes in meows at me when it's eating time if I'm not on time because she really loves the food I no longer feed her dry food and I love her silky for now with no shedding just hope the cost eventually comes down

Addictive!!!!!
I opted for this selection from Wellness since it's affordable variety from Wellness. Typically I buy the Core selection however Core has a limited range of flavors. All three flavors in this line up had my cat acting like a junkie. She typically has the pate from the Core line as well as pate from other companies. These options here, all of them my cat immediately ate. Typically my cat doesn't eat chicken from the can. She will eat raw chicken, freeze dried chicken and home made cooked chicken when presented. For what ever reasons after eating the selects, since this was ordered before I was able to make it to the local pet store she wanted nothing less than the selects. Her normal pates she started to refuse. This is mutiple flavors from multiple brands. Lamb from Ziwi Peak/Feline Natual, chicken and lamb from Ziwi Peak/Fussie Cat, rabbit from Rawz and turkey also from Rawz all denied. These are foods she's enjoyed in the past and was always in rotation with her kibble flavored chicken and whitefish. Once she got a taste of the selects nothing else was good enough for her. I needed to immediately get her off as for one these foods has guar gum which my cat is sensitive to. Secondly, this line up is high in carbs given that it's covered in gravy/sauce. Ingredient list both potatoes and tapioca starch which is pretty much nothing but sugar in the sauce. The food is basically sweet meat. You can taste the sugar in the sauce too. Cats can't taste sweet the way we do but my god was my cat addicted. I ended up going on a 3 day detox from the signature selects. For two days I continued to present her normal foods along with her kibble and some freeze dried options. Both days she refused her pate in exchange for her kibble and freeze dried. Day three of the detox after the morning kibble breakfast since she once again denied her pate not from the Core line up, I ended up pulling all the kibble. Normally I allow my girl to graze her kibble bowl which in most cases she doesn't eat much of except as a tiny snack between meals. Detox day 3, no grazing of kibble or freeze dried food allowed. So for much of day three she was extremely hungry. She was already hungry from going two days with less than a full meal. My cat was being very defiant thinking she could hold out long enough for me to present her with Wellness Signature Selects starving herself. Finally presented her a pate from the Core line up which once again denied. Knowing how hungry she was and the fact I can register some level of weight loss from the lack of eating, I ended up spoon feeding her a few bites of the pate. Ultimately having had these small bites she came back around to eating her normal food. THREE LONG DAYS OF STARVATION to get her off Wellness Selects. I don't know what they put into this line up but I don't think it's super healthy. My cat should have been able to move onto her beloved flavor profiles easily but nope. After the detox I ended up passing the last three cans of the signature selects off to a friend. Moving forward, the selects is out in favor of Core from Wellness and the other brands mentioned earlier that don't have gums in their food. Overall this is an excellent option for your cat if they don't develop addiction like behaviors for this product. Your cat should eat when hungry but not showcase behaviors of excessive following around meal time related to their preferred food, loud vocalizations and denial of old favored food. This three day detox was stressful for both my cat and myself but sticking it out paid off.
