Be careful with number plates.
Gave 4 stars because the numbers plates are pretty fragile and not flexible. Be careful as I snapped 2 of them. Other than that, love the product.

East to put together, but keeps stoping
It was east to put together although it has like 150 pieces it seems like. The directions were kinda off but I managed to put it together with ease. Everything was cool the first night then when I woke up the next day the clock was incorrect so I fixed it and again it was incorrect in the morning. Hopefully its not ghost stopping the clock at night but not sure what else it could be. It is very pretty and a major focal point in the dining room.

Big and cheap
The idea of not having a single device hung up to tell time but a wall sculpture of sorts isnt new. But being able to buy one for under $15 might be. Of course, at such a low price one has to manage expectations, and the AOXLANT clock gives plenty opportunity to test your ability to manage. You get what you pay for, but since it costs very little you may actually get a bargain. The chrome finish isnt for every interior even if it reflects the surroundings. It is decidedly contemporary and a bit retro at the same time. I am not sure what i was expecting, but I did apparently think the numbers and letters were 3D chrome designs similar to car emblems. It turns out its nothing like that. Instead its a black foam base with a flat chrome-like Mylar layer stuck to it. To be precise, you end up doing all the sticking and before that comes a lot of peeling. Three protective layers per number need to be removed after singulating each part from the flat sheets.Singulating isnt very difficult for the large numbers and I recommend to start with that. The words, and especially the twelve is a whole different animal. Make sure to pull the surrounding foam from the word to prevent what happened to me when trying to push it thru. Sticking the Mylar on first is easiest to keep the shape of the foam but makes the separating of the words twelve and three more difficult. The movement is fairly basic and there are two ways to mount it to the wall. The sticker is inside the housing and you can tape that to the wall and then snap the movement on. Thats fine but a bit difficult to remove for changing the AA battery. There is a curious.hook included that I didnt find mentioned in the manual. It has three nails integrated that you push thru (small hammer) to attach the hook to the wall and the movement has a hole to hang. I find this the better way as the movement comes off easily and you have a defined 12 o’clock orientation. The instructions dont explain this but I would align the minute and hour hand to the 12 orientation when assembling. The minute hand is keyed with flats, while the hour hand can be added in any orientation. For both to have the correct relationship its best to start with a known configuration. The movement is basic and for this price nothing else can be expected. I might replace the standard size module (inside the round housing) with a radio controlled one to not have to worry about setting or keeping the time. So far it functions fine and time will tell how urgent such an upgrade becomes. Setting the time with the wheel in the back is a challenge as the long hands make it difficult to hold on to the housing.

Very Decorative & Beautiful
This AOXLANT DIY Wall Clock came in a cheap manufacturer packaging so for i don't think it's very giftable, and it also feels a bit cheap up close but after it being installed on the wall it looked very premium and expensive, assembly and installing was annoying but it took me around 30 min. it doesn't come with batteries although it requires 1 AA Battery, and not the strong kind as they say in the manual it will destroy the clock so make sure to buy a cheap off brand weak battery so you don't short the circut.Overall, it lookes beautiful but it's very flimsy so as long as it's on the wall don't think about touching it, also don't forget to remove the plastic protector of the numbers other wise it will look dull.
