Rubies Child's Forum Shark Costume, Medium for Themed Parties and Halloween

I asked my 6 year old daughter what she wanted to be for Halloween this year, and without hesitation she said, “A shark!” So where do you go to find a kid’s shark costume? Not your local Halloween store, that’s for sure. Amazon to the rescue! This is a much higher quality costume than I expected. I got the size Medium, and she normally wears size 7. It fit perfectly. It’s very soft, with a Velcro back closure and elastic at the ankles. The elastic has ridden up her legs a bit in the pictures, but I pulled the legs down before she went Trick-or-Treating and she didn’t have any further issues. The head piece is made from a thin foam material to give it a little more stiffness so it holds its shape. The dorsal and tail fin don’t stick out like they do in the picture; they tend to droop a bit. But they waggle back and forth when she walks and it’s adorable. My daughter had a blast on Halloween, singing the Jaws theme as she walked up to houses. Thanks, Amazon!

Great costume! My son received many compliments while wearing it. It does run a bit small though. I ordered the 8-10 size (my son normally wears a 7) so it would be roomy enough for warm clothes underneath. However, it ran small and JUST fit. I'd recommend ordering up a size to be safe. Overall, well made and adorable!

My 4 year old loves it! The quality is great. It’s nice and soft. Love the feel of it. He usually wears between a 3T and a 4T. I bought the 8-10 and it fit perfectly. So maybe go up 2 sizes especially if you want to layer clothes underneath.

My son wanted to be a shark and I like to find costumes that I can have the kids wear layers under for our chilly Nebraska fall days! This was really cute, well made (it held up great when his soccer team got to play a game in their costumes!) and received many compliments.

My son wears a size 5 and I ordered the med (size 8-10) and it JUST fits. I would say the legs are are a little short. I was hoping it would be big and he could wear it over his winter coat and it would fit for a while. Definitely order up a size, but it works and it is SO CUTE.

This costume was great!! Was warm enough for a Wisconsin Halloween’s. We were able to but plenty of layers underneath and it was so cute! We had so many compliments!
