Probably the best value to performance knives on amazon
I have tried a lot of "cheap" knives- but these are far and wide the best ones i've ever gotten "cheap". The box they come in makes for a GREAT gift. They are very sharp right out of the box. The weights on them feel light enough to handle with ease, but still have enough to them to not feel low quality. They sharpen easily and seem to hold their edge well.My only complaint is I dont like the logo on the black part of the blade- but thats whatever for the price ya know? Otherwise I actually quite like the upper "non stick" painted blade. Its very comfortable to hold and gives you a good grip for proper holding position. Also- while the handles look like wood, they are infact plastic, they dont 'feel' plastic like... At least not to me. You dont get that cheap plastic reverberation or feel in the hand.I think if you are someone on a budget like me, but want to treat yourself to something nice and good quality to use in the kitchen- this is the route to go.PS. A little tip- if you want these knives to last you, after washing and drying (dont let soak, just do it after use) apply a thin thin layer of oil to the blade, just a drop or two on a paper towel for the whole knife blade. I use food safe mineral oil on my knives and cutting boards in very thin layers after use. It should basically be dry after application, you'd never know the oil is on it. This will prevent rust, oxidization, wear, and make the most of your money over time. Normally not something id do for "cheap" knives- but again. These are AMAZING for the price. Very good quality.

Excellent buy
I bought these so I could better cook my weekly meals. These blades are incredibly sharp and cut well. I would recommend this purchase to any body else.I like these knives so much that I have bought a set for my son who shares my passion for cooking.

Recommend
I work in the kitchen, specifically banquets, so that means A LOT of preparation and chopping. That also means you don't want to be carrying an expensive knives. Now these knives may rust easily, especially if you don't take car of them. But if you do, even these cheap knives can almost be equal to my expensive Japanese knives. I sharpen and shine them each time they seem like they need it. Super reliable and hasn't failed me. It even impressed my coworkers and head chefs. This is a very practical knife, I use this for work (and I sometimes would be chopping something for 7 hours). I even ordered some for my coworkers because they were so impressed. Saying this though, you have to know how to sharpen and polish them. Because they are still a cheap knife. So you will need to help maintain it. You get what you paid for. But I still π―π―π―π― recommend.

First impression
These knifes honestly feel a bit cheap in the hand. Your paying 25 though for 4 knives and ect so you get what you pay for. They're very light weight but still blade heavy, very thin on top of having a hammered finish, theyre probably ground out of a sheet of metal and then given a hammered finish. The knives dont feel like full tang but its hard to tell, the handle is some sort of soft plastic imitation wood that was poured over the tang.I like the design of the knives though, the black nonstick coating leaving little under an inch of the blade revealed with the hammered finish detailing the rest of the blade. Ive bought a cheap knife before only to have it last years so we'll see how these turn out.

Best set for the price
I bought a set almost 1 year back now, and use them daily. Apart from some light honing before use, i still haven't had to sharpen them at all.For the price, you can not go wrong. The blades are very thin, but also sturdy. The handles are not real wood, but they are grippy if your hands are wet.The vegetable peeler is a bit finicky, but it works great once you get going.

A good but not great starter knife set
Upon first impression, I can say the unboxing was a great experience. Simple top down set up that displays each knife and the primary purpose. The knife set includes a chef knife, cleaver, carving, and pairing set. It is also complimented with a pair of kitchen sears and a ceramic peeler. For a novice individual, or someone who is unfamiliar with the kitchen essentials, this is a wonderful jump into the kitchen. I would suggest just adding a bread knife that fits your budget as well. I used each knife over a variety of days in order to complete numerous tasks and have a few comments in both sides of the scaling spectrum. My favorite blade without question was the small 8" cleaver! If I were to better term it, this is the multi tool all-purpose blade. The blade maintained perfect sharpness and precision no matter the item.My least favorite blade however was surprisingly/unfortunately the 8" chef knife. Both this and the carving knife are dreadfully dull. Even worse, the chef knife all arrived with crooked steal. I did put it on a sharpening stone to help give it a refresh, however it just felt underwhelming.Final Breakdown:1) Given this is a set, the uniform lightweight feel and comfortable spacing from the finger guard to the butt of the handle felt correct.2) Someone with a larger hand may however not be comfortable with the spacing of the blade, from the spine to the cutting edge.3) A GOOD budget friendly option for a novice/amateur cook.

Extremely sharp right out of the box
I love these knives. So far they seem very balanced. They cut great and so far, no rust. Very sharp. They also look great. The blades are a little thinner than I'd like for a set of kitchen knives to be, but that just makes them lighter. I haven't used them for any real heavy cutting yet, but I'll definitely update my review if the seem to dull easily. I just bought a universal knife block to store them in. I wish they had come with one, but at this price point, I was OK with just buying one separately.
