Ballistic makes the best iPhone cases on the market! I have been using them for more than 10 years going back to the iPhone 5. I work in the trades and my iPhones get dropped or tossed around all the time. Since my iPhone 5, I have never cracked a screen. The corners of this case have extra cushions built-in to absorb shock. The case is overall very sturdy and protects all facets of the phone. The case is compact yet still very protective. The case is also not very thick to be bulky. I place the metal plate between the phone and case to use with a MPOW magnetic car mount that I have been using since 2015 in various cars. The iPhones stay put.

been using ballistic cases since iphone 4!old man here rock n my new se (senior edition, LOL) gen3! love small smartphones you can throw in your pocket... dont care for tote n movie screens or phone tablets around.1st phone (right pic) was iphone 4 3g. started out with otterbox, then changed to ballistic. phone is pristine!2nd iphone (not in pic) was the se gen1 16gb with the ballistic case and holder. phone was ran over by a 5.5 ton kubota track loader... think mini bulldozer. the phone and case survived, but the home button got damaged. put that case on my 3rd iphone (middle pic) se gen1 16gb. i accidentally dropped it in the dogs water bowl... still worked, but it was time to upgrade to the se 32gb.the iphone (left plc) se gen1 32gb is wrapped in the black and white ballistic case. it served me well, but had to upgrade to ios 16.choosing the ballistic raptor case was a no brainer for my new se gen3. i love the raised edges for extra protection. throw a JETech glass screen protector (sold on amazon) on and wrap it up with the ballistic raptor and you got protection! can't promise it'll survive 5.5 tons, but it'll take a 4ft drop all day long... ask me how i know!btw if you change out the B-lab corners, make sure the smallest one goes next to the camera lens. i changed the black out for red... easier to see the red, i misplace my phone a lot LOL!

Sharp, simple and protective. Has excellent corner protection and raised edges so that a drop directly on the face on a flat surface will prevent the screen from taking impact. Obviously, if you want more protection for the screen, you'd need to buy a case with a full screen protector, but those come with their own challenges.If you're looking for an iPhone 8 Plus case that is sharp looking, reasonably priced, and protects the phone well, without going for an ultra-protective case, then this definitely is a great choice.

It fits the phone but the plastic is too thick where you plug in cable to charge it. It makes you have to take phone out of case to charge properly.

This is my second purchase of the Ballistic Raptor iPhone Case.The product delivers great protection from the frequent desk height drops my phone receives.The corner inserts are a very cool feature that when added create a nice contrasting color and style to the case in addition to the shock protection they offer.

I got a new phone and finally replaced my faux wood Ballistic case. That thing was really looking rough, but was still functional. I bought this because it was less expensive and didn’t have anything that seemed like it would show wear. Great cases- functional and affordable. I appreciate the grip- handling a naked iPhone is like holding a handful of baby eels. Slippery as heck and you’re going to drop something.

Screen is not covered at all and I was worried. I am used to having those bulky cases with several layers of protection because I’m clumsy and drop my phone a lot (plus my kids use it too and they drop it a lot as well), but I’m glad I got this. It is less bulky, East to put on, and works great. Already dropped my phone a handful of times but no broken screen, so yay!
