This works as a trainer. But I have anxiety from decades of abuse, stress and struggle, so I didn’t buy this for its waist training purposes. I saw a video that incessant barking dogs have anxiety and once they put on a waist brace, the barking stopped and it instantly improved their anxiety. Taking that same approach for myself, it has really helped reduce my own stress and anxiety. When I wear it, it’s like the hug I need to breathe and feel like myself again. It’s very noticeable, the effect, mentally and physically.

This product is amazing it's able to adjust to the perfect size needed if you lose or gain weight. The velcro is very strong and the belt is very durable and well made. It's really nice to be able to adjust it multiple ways for a snug and comfortable fit. It functions very well while as advertised. It definitely helps you to sweat by raising body temperature. Also it does seem to be able to machine wash and the stitching is very well done. Great product and I highly recommend it for anyone looking for such a product. I honestly have three other waist training belts and this one is definitely a keeper.

I am around 140lbs and 5’6. I got a small and it is definitely a little tight. I can strap it but just barely. But to be fair I have a wider ribcage. I love the feeling of being held in place and this does just that. The boning in this creates a straight seamless look from the outside through your clothes. Very much helps with posture, and is definitely gonna make you sweat! Only reason I didn’t give it 5 starts was because of the fit. I looked over reviews and based my size off of others but not everyone is built the same and it was definitely my fault.
