Works really well.
I purchased this foot for my Singer Quantum Stylist 9960 sewing machine. The foot was easy to install, but I did have some difficulty getting it to work (to catch the fabric to make the pleat). I took a break from it and watched a video on YouTube on how to use and I quickly got it to work. The trick that got it working was to move all the moving parts a bit to get them to flex and move easily. Really good quality.

Singer Ruffler for low shank machine.
A very good quality pressure foot and very sturdy. To begin with, this was a difficult foot to work with. It was hard getting it on the machine and my needle kept hitting the plate. I had to do a lot of adjusting but finally got it to fit without bending my needle. With the help of the YouTube tutorial, I was able to work with it and, after many, many tires, my ruffles were really nice. I'm glad there was a link on the back of the package for the tutorial. I'm really loving this pressure foot, now.

Love this product
Its a really good product, but you have to watch a view youtube videos first before using it else it might just be a frustration to you, dont pull to much on the fabric inside it else the sharp points will rip it, test it first by hand to make sure your needle is not hitting the presser foot and adjust acordingly, you can use a tool to lift up those sharp edges to get your fabric in without ripping it, and do work the attachment a little with the hand to make it a bit looser before you attach it to your machine, once you get the hang of it it works perfectly creating really nice ruffles

Claimed to be compatible with my model but it's not
I specifically asked about my model and got this answer: "The Singer Ruffler Attachment Presser Foot is compatible with low-shank sewing machines, including the Singer 4562 model." So I ordered it, it came today. With the presser foot lowered the bottom of the ruffler sits above the feed dogs, no contact at all, so it doesn't pull the fabric through, thus doesn't work. Disappointing, returning it.

I never used one and I love it. I learned easily after right tutorial and ...
Ok, I have to say I was a bit iffy on whether I should get this for the price and if it would fit my Singer Classic, not a fancy sewing machine. I also have a Pfaff, but my basic Singer has worked as back up and period. It worked well with my singer Classic. I scan the code to download the video on how to use, but it took me to another ruffler foot. I decided to look at other utube videos and if you research enough you'll find someone that has made what you are looking for. 2 males used these same ruffler foot. I never used one and I love it. I learned easily after right tutorial and I made my first easy ruffling plus attached to dress where I wanted the ruffle to go on. Love it, must try it, super easy, so glad I bought it. If bought elsewhere locally, they run much higher.

Old school ruffler
This special foot has limited use, and not everyone will think they need it. But I find it invaluable for so many applications. It fit my Pfaff machine, but I also have a Singer Featherweight which will also accommodate it. Here I made dozens of yards of ruffled underskirt for a costume. Only downfall is, there are zero instructions included on how to use this thing. I already knew, because this isn't the first one I've owned. If in doubt, there are videos on YouTube. This small device is a miracle of engineering. Disclaimer: this attachment will not fit all Pfaff machines, it is after all made by Singer.
