FunKo Vinyl Idolz: Ghostbusters - Dr. Peter Venkman Toy Figure

I'll point out that like another reviewer my figure also came with the box covered in brown paint on the front window, but unlike that reviewer I'm not going to rate a product down because the seller couldn't be bothered to use a drop cloth when doing some painting. It's not Funko or the product's fault either, sure the seller should let customers know and not send them out that way,sell them as seconds or whatever, but that's what seller feedback and the links to contact your seller are all about, not the product review page as everyone who sells one on here now or in the future (including those of us who've bought one if we need money one day) shouldn't be tainted with the same brown paint brush.The figure is pretty well detailed, doesn't entirely look like Bill Murray of course, but it's a nice cartoon like version of him and you definitely know who he is if you take him out of the box. He stands perfectly fine by himself but there is also a stand (which is basically a black circle with a two pointy bits to insert into a hole in both his shoes. There is no Ghostbusters logo or anything on the stand to enhance the display so I don't bother with it. His clothes and pack are all part of the one mold, and don't come off, nor can you pose him in any other stance.The Vinyl Idolz are a lot taller than your standard Pop Vinyl figures including the Ghostbuster versions, but they still look cool displayed beside the Ecto 1 display stand and the Pop Vinyl Winston driver. As far as I know they didn't make a Winston as a Vinyl Idolz but hopefully one day.Dr. Peter Venkman: He slimed me.Dr Ray Stantz: That's great. Actual physical contact. I got this a few days ago and it looks great and is a lot bigger than it appears. They probably should have something to show a size comparison. Mine did not come with smeared paint or scratches but the small base plate that he's suppose to rest in to stay upright does not fit. These figures will topple over easily. Clearly there some QA issues that need to be sorted but for a first run, not bad.

These are really nicely detailed. Way better than the Funko Pop versions. Peter looks great! I wish they had Winston =(

The figure's feet won't properly attach to the base it comes with, making it cosntantly tilted at best and just falling on the desk at worst. Keeping it standing up is an excercise in frustration. I expected much better for the price.

I got this for my 4 year son who loves Ghostbusters. He carries it with him everywhere. It is exactly as described and we received it right on time.

Impressive detail. I like the Idolz better then the pops. Looking forward to getting more Vinyl Idolz in the future. Hopefully they will have more of a selection soon.
