Difference between large and small? Amount/# of pieces or the size of the pieces?

The small one has 46 pieces and the large has 98 pieces. Bought this for my 4yr old niece and she loved it!

where is this product manufactured?

My 3 yr old enjoyed it at the party but it was for a friend, so I don't know anything else, sorry.

Why are there no directions with this toy??

Our 4 year old niece had no trouble figuring out ways to build a garden with this toy. It helps little ones stretch their imaginations and she loves building and rebuilding her garden, including in the tub! Just let a child’s imagination take over, but start with the dark green base, add some lighter green stems and put flowers inside the stems!

Does it come with something to store the pieces in other than the box?

No, there is no storage box, but I just bought 2 small plastic containers from the Dollar Store and put the bases and stems in one and all the flower components in the other. It works great!!
