I make hundreds of candles a year and have tried many types of centering devices for wicks. These are top tier! They stay where you put them and they are quality. Great value as they will never break! Will use for years.

These work great for setting wick positions! Makes my job so much easier!

They work fine, sometimes. I'll get to the issues in a moment, but start with the fact that they're sturdy, well built, and you get a lot of them for the dollar. Kudos.However, there are two issues that may or not be major for your uses.1. The wick size they'll handle is kind of small, considering the size of candle holder they're working for. I'm wicking with CD 8 for my smaller candles and they work well with this holder. My larger, I'm using CD 18 and the little slot you jam the wick into is just too small. CD 8 are for small diameter, like 2 to 2.5" wide candles, which is about the smallest tier on these, so I'd expect the slot to work with a larger wick.b. They don't fit every container. They're tiered, like a wedding cake, so you can set them in the middle of the container and they'll stay in place and centered. But, somehow, 3 of the 4 containers I've tried them in are sized so you end up in between sizes, and the guide ends up cockeyed and sliding around. The flat ones I got elsewhere just work better there.That one container, where they fit right? They're the shiz.I gave 'em 4 stars for build quality, probably should be 3 stars but that seems harsh in Amazon rating world. They are 3.5 star items and I'm rounding up. If I only used containers that were the right diameter, they'd be a SOLID 4 star item.

These wick holders work great. They fit the smaller jars I’m working with perfectly but sit a little wonky on the 8oz jars I’m using.**Update - After using these wick holders for 15 batches of candles in both 8oz and 4oz size candle jars, I only wish I had more so I could make more candles at a time! Even though the holder sits a little wonky on the 8oz jar, the wicks are always centered and won’t fall into your candle while pouring. The holders sit perfectly flat and center on the 4 oz jars. I prefer to wait until the candle has set for about 12 hours before removing the wick holder to avoid disturbing the wax so much. These holders have 3 holes so you can use them on more than one size jar. The holes for the wicks also have a little notch that your wick will fit into securely. I’ve used these with Eric X Light wicks and CS eco 4 wicks.
