Mosura pH Up increase the pH of shrimp tanks by using ingredients which are gentle to shrimp. At low pH, nitrifying bacteria perform at very low efficience, hence, it is recommended to keep water pH above 6.0. Mosura pH UP is useful in bring up the pH of a tank during new tank cycling with new soil. It is also useful to increase pH for species that require high pH, for example Sulaweisi shrimps and snails. Recommended Dosing Methods: Get to know the pH requirements of the species of shrimp you are keeping. For a tank with shrimps, dissolve a small amount of pH UP in a cup of water, add this solution into your tank a little at a time. Allow it to mix well before measuring the pH. Do not increase pH by more then .5 in 1 day. For a tank without shrimps/livestock, dose a small amount of pH Up, allow time for it to dissolve completely and measure the pH. Repeat the process by adding pH Up until the desired pH level is reached.
