is this thing really load? Looking for fan for outside patio where we will bewatching ball games

I have 3 of them and they do make noise. If you mount it several feet from you it shouldn't be to bad. It is awesome fan and you can feel it 20 feet away.

Does this come with the wall mounting bracket?

normally no.it comes with the half round bracket attached to the fan itself but not the wall mounting bracket.

Can this fan be hard wired to a switch?

With the addition of a junction box for connecting cord to switch circuit
