These clips are my go-to.I’ve noticed that a lot of hair clips sold today have very short teeth, despite being advertised “for thick hair.” As a result, they’re not able to grip my hair and clip near my scalp. The teeth are simply too short.Rather than making the teeth longer like this Scunci clip, other brands make the clip itself longer, which does nothing to help in my situation.These are the only clips that have teeth long enough to keep my hair up. I’ve attached pictures of this clip and another sold on Amazon for comparison.My old Scunci clip is still in one piece, and I’ve had it for years. It stays in the shower to clip my hair up when conditioning, and after rinsing to keep my hair out of the way.I’m glad I have a second one to use out and about. Walmart stores stopped carrying it, however Amazon didn’t fail! The price was about $6 for several months, then it dropped to around $3 and I bought it. Good price, and more than just a paperweight!

This is the best claw clip I’ve had in a very long time. I went to my local Target to find one and I didn’t care for any of them nor their prices! I decided to give this one a shot and I am happy I did. I personally love the color but more importantly the size. I have long thick hair so I need something big but not too big . The thickness with silicone along the inside makes it easy to hold my hair all day.

My hair is an inch an a half thick in diameter when twisted up or in a ponytail. It also goes past my butt. This is one of the most useless hairclips I've owned. The grips do nothing, it might as well be smooth.Maybe this is more for thin-medium hair?

I've bought this clip twice now, with Amazon replacing it once because it arrived broken.I'd used my first clip for over 3 years and was so relieved I could buy one here. It's the ONLY hair clip I use because I have super long and thick hair and it's the only one - out of 3 others I bought - that actually keep my hair up.It's got a clear, remember grip inside the claws that help keep your hair gripped and in place.BUT, it's fragile. Not so fragile that you can't drop it or it'll shatter, but fragile as in it'll break the claw points if your sleep with it your hair (duh) or try to close it tighter on your hair. I've gone through only 2 and I'll still buy them, even if I might break a claw or two. It's still usable and does the job.

Great item well made (it’s plastic) . The spring is wound for a tight grip. Holds nicely , sure you may have to readjust it depending on your activity at the time. I’ve purchased other brands and this is my favorite size .. not to big or to small.. I don’t have thin hair nor is it as thick as it use to be but this size doesn’t let me down. Easy to clean if needed. Not sure if you need one for the day clip on the bottom of your shirt !!it’s there when you need it..

This honestly is the best I’ve ever had, every other big hair clip doesn’t hold my hair like this one. Keep an eye out for random sales they have when they $2, I be buying like 4 and last me for a while. definitely recommend it guys
