Gaitors kept the water out!
I purchased these boot gaitors before a recent XC ski trip to Utah. Three of us used them for three days, and so far we are satisfied customers. They kept the water out of our XC ski boots, and were easy to put on. We were skiing and walking thru ~2' of snow, so they had plenty of work to do. I had previously purchased a pair of pricey ones at the local outdoor specialty store, but they were the same price as three of these. Didn't plan to use them enough to justify the cost difference. These worked plenty fine, and expect that they will last. They seem to be made from durable materials.I got a Size L for myself (6' , 180#)and my son 6'1" , and a size M for my wife 5'7", and they seemed fine for fit over ski pants. There is a fair amount of adjustment room with the 1" velcro strips.

Better than I expected.
I started a job delivering home heating oil and got tired of duct taping my pant legs closed. Wasn't sure how long I was going to be doing it, so I didn't want to spend too much. These were very reasonably priced. They worked great. Easy to put on and take off. They kept the snow out of my boots and my pant legs dry. They stayed put and rarely need any adjustment throughout the day. They're still in great condition with no real signs of wear and I'd fully expect to get another season, or more, out of them.

works adequate but strap slips
fits great with my hiking books/spikes however wish the strap under the boot had a better means to secure itself; i find it slips or loosens up on many of my hikes; used it about 5-6 times so far - functions fine for the task at hand but not perfect; i suspect after a couple seasons the strap under the book will break/tear but hard to complain considering the price; velco secures calf area great and super easy to put on aside from underneath strap; i have not used the hook for snowshoes (this goes in the back near your heel) - just never really needed it

Good basic gaiters
I am using them to protect myself from brambles and thorns and so far they do quite well. They fit well and are light-weight. They don't seem to be too warm to tolerate even in summer. The velcro is strong and if you take the time to put them on properly they stay in place very well. They seem sufficiently durable but time will tell.

Not for snow boots
There is no way these would fit a snow boot. They barley fit my regular boots. The bottom doesn't cover very much. Would not be able to use these on low tops at all without the heel part pulling up and allowing dirt to get it. I can barley get the lace hooks on the middle of the shoes so no way it would hook to a snow boot. It seems like good material other then the strap for under the boot seems cheap and not sewn on very good compared to my outdoor research ones. I'll try them out in the bush and see how they hold up. I guess for the price yoy get what you pay for. My outdoor research ones were about $80 if I recall correctly. I'll keep those for my snow boots and these to tear up in the bushes

Great Product, great price
Despite the great reviews, I was skeptical that a $17 pair of gators would cut it, but they were the only ones i could get in less than 3 days when i left my others behind. These were awesome!!! I used them for a 6 day High Country hunting trip in the Idaho Mountains. Day 1 was Hot and dusty, Day 2-6 included rain, snow, more rain, and more snow, and you guessed it, lots and lots of mud! These served the purpose by keeping my trousers clean and dry and subsequently my feet and legs warm. Easy to put on/remove and easy to clean.

Durable
These were pretty great. I hunted elk all season with these on each time I was out. I covered many miles through rough terrain, and these never ripped. The part that connects under your foot started to de-thread, but that was after putting them through stuff that should have destroyed them, so these got 5 stars from me. If you have an ring to connect the gaitors on your boot toe, these are designed for that, but they snug up to your foot, and no debri gets by.

Decent gaiters for the price, but not heavy duty.
Overall a pretty good gaiter for the price. Don’t be fooled, these aren’t heavy duty goretex material that will last a lifetime. I used mine for one season of snowshoeing maybe 10 times and they’re beat up. They’ll probably last next year but that’s it. Summary: good value for light use
