DickiesMen's Kevlar Reinforced Steel Toe Crew Socks, Available in L-XL (2, 4 Pairs)

One of the most useful socks I have ever found. Excellent medium weight socks for wearing with boots. Even pulls up to just at the knee for use in high top snake boots. Nice cushion underfoot and reasonably warm. Too thick in really warm weather for me but great the rest of the year. These socks wear well.

The Dickies Men's Kevlar Reinforced Steel Toe Crew Socks were purchased during July of 2021 for, I think, $7.20 per pair. Although the post is confusing to me, I think the price is, as of 11-18-24, $9.47 per pair.I've been wearing these socks for more than 3 years now and they show very little signs of wear. It is indicated that the toes are reinforced with kevlar. Whether that is an accurate description, or not, I have no idea. Nonetheless, I purchased these socks as a replacement for socks specifically made to be worn with boots. In my case, western style boots.Originally, I purchased these specialty boot socks because of the cushion layer on the sole, toe, and heel of the sock. It seems as though they didn't last very long as they were made of 100% wool. The thing is: being made of wool, they were comparitively expensive. Although I really liked the specialty boot socks, they didn't seem to be worth the price for the time one could expect for them to last.I'm not one to wear synthetic clothing. all of my underwear is made from 100% cotton...and I wear natural fiber clothing from trousers, shirts, sweaters, and outer wear. I do not own any synthetic fiber jackets...and I REALLY like jackets.In any case, these socks have all of the features of the specialty boot socks....except the're synthetic, much less expensive, and much more durable.I will continue to purchase this item!

Warm but toe broke through after 2 months use.

So far very happy with these docks they feel great in a pair of work boots all shift. Will have to see how they hold up over time but I'm planning to order some more.

The only socks you'll ever need.

I've had these for a month now wearing 8 hours a day. Very comfortable with steel toe boots on concrete with lots of walking/ standing. Only complaint is the sizing. The foot is good but they come all the way up to my knees, would prefer actual crew or ankle height.

My husband loved these socks, but something must of changed since I bought him the first pairs last year. The colors of the socks -each pair is a different color. One pair of the socks looks like it is a sheep after washing. Very wooly looking. The socks are not consistent in colors so it is hard to match up the socks correctly. Will not buy again.
