Overall good price, good quality
I am a beginner and starting my online course to become a certified sound practitioner and needed to get a set of bowls. I did a little online research and these were the ones that best fit my needs. I chose the 7 inch bowls with a full set. It comes in 2 super cushy cases each with their own dust bag nestled within each other. Carrying them can be a bit heavy but they travel well in the protective cases. It includes silicone circles to place under each bowl, 1 silicone ball mallet, 2 suede mallets and some color/note stickers if you want to stick them on the bowls. They are easy to play and sound great, they can get very loud. You can layer the different sounds to get a very relaxing and calming tune. The sizes can vary depending on the set you get. The bowls are thick and feel sturdy. Overall, this is a wonderful beginner set that is not to pricey with good quality. I can definitely see myself using these for several years to come.

The cases are very protective and attractive, and the F note sings beautifully & true
I have wanted to explore the singing bowls for a while. I go to sleep almost every time listening to them play - I find them incredibly relaxing. I was a bit afraid that when I got them, I'd put them up and they'd get broken by a kitty, so I was quite relieved when I saw the cases they came in. The cases are very nice with a fitted form that the bowls sit in, and they are well padded.I took to the bowls right off and was able to have them singing LOUD AND CLEAR within fifteen minutes, and with a bit more practice, 2 hours later I was able to control the volume so that I felt I was getting the benefit and yet controlling the sound so it was more comfortable. I think if you can keep a steady hand at all, you can probably play these. They come with a suede wrapped ceramic or quartz? stick that is hollow. I find that it only takes a light tap and just let your hand follow the tone, then control the volume with speed. For me it was intuitive. My 23 year old son also picked it up easily. The B is clear and beautiful. If you can get it going really steady, harmonics start to layer on the sound as the volume starts to get rather loud. I can FEEL that like vibrations hitting me. I play brass instruments, and have for years, but I haven't ever felt sound quite like this before. It's sort of like the effect you get at a loud rock concert, or when a car with really thumping bass goes by- but it's not bass and it's not anything like that sort of volume. These come with O rings to sit them on. I find you can hold one in your hand and play it too, but they are a really too big to do that for long. After I had a session using "F" and "B" I felt very eased and relaxed. I look forward to working with these more. They are beautiful. They are made of melted, crushed quartz. They are frosted on the outside and smooth like glass inside. I find each different bowl has a slightly different 'feel' to the way it sings. The F tone itself is very accurate. It reads perfectly on an electronic tuner.

Oh how I love thee
I waited 2 months before I decided to review these. I scoured the internet for sound bowls after I did a sound therapy certification. I knew I wanted to add bowls to my arsenal first, but most of them came with a 2k price tag. I saw these black bowls and fell in love. But the price tag concerned me. Why were they so cheap?? I probably read every bad review…most seemed to be user error but it did concern me that some people received broken bowls. I decided to add the offered insurance purchase since these bowls were on the cheaper side. I’m not a practicing sound therapist and was just buying them for personal use so I figured if they weren’t “the best” it wasn’t like I was offering that to clients.2 months later I’m so happy with this purchase. I have no issues them. I’ve played them all with a tuner and they’re where they should be tuned. They sound amazing and even my skeptical husband voluntarily lays down for sound baths.I did go buy some vinyl chakra stickers so I could keep the bowls sorted while playing. They came with little papers in them which were fine, but I wanted something attached. If you’re on the fence, I 100% recommend these bowls- even for professional use. If you’re worried about breaks (which can happen with even the super expensive bowls) buy the insurance! I plan to start offering therapy sessions and have every intention of using these bowls. No need to upgrade!I’ve also seen some poor reviews of the carrying cases. I have zero issues with them. They’ve protected my bowls when I have taken them places and have held up well the last couple of months. They are a nice deep purple and have ample storage for everything!Overall great product from top fund!

Goes with my Topfund set!
Love my high "C" bowl and it fits nicely with the rest of my C major scale from Topfund. I am a sound healer and use this bowl, and my other seven Topfund bowls, at multiple events each month! I've been using Topfund for over five years and my bowls are still sounding amazing and playing beautifully years later.

Bowl is great but the carry case was missing.
Bowl is great, sounds beautiful. The carry case was missing, so that was disappointing.
