If you use these to freeze meals, poor water on before trying to open. It will crack, if you don't.

These are great for leftovers. I place them in the freezer and it's like having a TV dinner any time I want. No waste of food, saves money and just the right portion.

I have been re-using the Chinese restaurant takeout containers for some years now as seed-starting trays, and purchased these trays to replace my old clumsy, flimsy black seed-starting trays from the usual vendors. The high-dome see-through covers provide the perfect amount of humidity during the germination. I never actually "lock" the lids on. I leave the the lids just resting on the tray bottoms on for the first 1-2 days to retain the moisture (I make sure the seed-starting mixture is moist beforehand), and turn the lids slightly (relative to their bottoms) on the 3rd or 4th day to allow air circulation.The biggest advantages of these containers are:(0) initial cost(1) convenient size (small enough to set on a window sill)(2) deep enough to permit watering from the bottom of the tray; I use an oven turkey baster to gently water the seeds from the sides of the tray; the water on the bottom "pulls" the roots downwards(3) last much longer than the traditional seed-starting trays; my old trays tended to crack and leak after just a couple of seasons, since I also used the trays to hold my transplants while the seedlings are hardening off on my front porch. Since these trays are microwave-safe, I'm assuming they will withstand the sunshine better than my old clumsy trays.

Just the right size for take home meals.I have to say though, I actually purchased to feed a stray cat, Big Red.He earns his keep, but I was tired of cleaning up rodent guts he would leave for me.Appreciate the presents, but no thank you.I cover up his leftover food at night. It did help to keep the rodents away, no more food to come for.

I bought these to do some meal prep and I am pretty satisfied with them so far.The portion size is adequate and I haven’t had any issues with leakage yet. As for the durability, we take them from the fridge, throw them in the microwave and then I stick them on the top rack of the dishwasher and haven’t had any issues with them yet.I would definitely recommend these.

These containers are 1st economical. 2nd hold a great deal, with the domed lid as a bonus. 3rd sturdy, have had one fall from the fridge and didn’t break or open. Thank goodness. Very surprised and pleased with my purchase. They hold up well in the microwave. Everyone loved them after Christmas dinner to take home leftovers.

These containers worked so well for their purpose! I was able to put enough food on each of them. They seal real well and prevents leaks. The material seems strong enough to handle heavy meals! Very happy with this product!
