I was expected the cost of the filters to be more. You get 2 in this package at an amazing deal!

Look like they will work. Unclear if these are OEM or not.

Good lord, I bought these a long time ago (and only now getting around to reviewing them). Thinking back in my memory banks I'm torn between giving these Krups filters one star or five. I'll settle for four.Throughout the years I purchased these filters I had NO *problem* with them (5 stars). Yet, looking back, why did I -- or anyone -- purchase and use a coffee maker which required the usage of water filters (1 star).I realize the Krups/water purists may argue. But, after decades of being a coffee drinker (who, albeit, is not a "purist") I see NO reason to buy/purchase/own a coffee maker which requires a water filter.

I like my coffee water as pure and filtered as possible so I use filtered water that I then pour thru a wire filter that's in the filter basket itself and then these charcoal filters sit in the bottom of the water tank. I then use one of those gold filters with a paper filter inside when I brew it..this may sound crazy but that's how I like it and remember ..."Death before dishonor....nothing before coffee". I put in a new filter every 2 months or so and my coffee maker has a little reminder dial to let you know when to change to a new one. Well worth the price.

It is good to know that we can still find this filter. The coffee maker is 15 years old and we have been unable, locally, to find the filters. Price was reasonable and delivery fast.
