Towpower 7028100 Class V Heavy Duty Ball Mount

I have a box full of 2" drawbars many from Reese. When I purchased my new truck, I didn't want to use an adapter to tow my boat or motorcycle trailer. I have never had a problem with a Reese product in my 40+ years of using them and I expect this to be no exception. Well made, heavy duty and perfect fit into my 2 1/2" receiver.

Got this for my 18 duramax so I could dump the sleeve on my old 2" ball setup. My old setup was rated for 6k lbs and now it's all rated for 10k too so there's some peace of mind. There's less clunking and the sleeve was a pile of junk and would get stuck in the receiver. Aligning the sleeve and hitch with the receiver sucks to put the pin in. No more frustration and wasting time. I should have bought this setup a long time ago. It was a pain torquing the shank and I wish all vendors had the little keeper pin to keep the nut from spinning, but we got it done. I need to make another one for 2-5/16. It's really well constructed and the paint/powdercoat is thick and tough.

Got very tired of having to use the 2” to 2&1/2” adapter sleeve. Now everything pulls so much smoother! I should have bought this years ago!

Got this so that my cargo trailer rides a little more level behind my truck. Perfect for what I needed. I added a 2 5/16” hitch ball to dial it in and now it’s the go to when I tow the cargo trailer. Fits perfectly in the back of 2018 Ram 2500 and uses a regular pin to secure it into place. Is rated for O’Keefe’s Ty of weight and is well built. It arrived by UPS in a box that was a little damaged but this thing is pretty beefy and it came out of the box without a scratch on it so I think the black paint or powder coat will hold up for a while. I would buy it again.
