Been buying this coffee on an almost monthly basis since 2017. In April of this year I received my first bad bag. Way over roasted, the beans were as black as a Sharpie. Tried a few other brands then ordered another bag recently. Beans looked pretty over roasted, but not black. Tried making cold brew with them, still very bitter and burnt tasting. What happened to the good coffee I used to get? First pic from March, second from recent order.

I have tried a bunch of different Yirgacheffe Coffees over the last few years and I was looking forward to having this one again, I remembered it having true Yirgacheffe flavor and aroma. Not so with this batch. The floral fruity weirdness was so barely perceptible it made me want to throw it all away. But in relative terms, it really is high quality coffee so I gave it to my neighbor and she is thrilled. If you want to be sure that you will receive a snort of that authentic Yirgacheffe flavor and aroma, I'd go elsewhere.

I have ordered this brand and type of coffee multiple times,always get it quickly.I love a good tasting and strong coffee and this is perfect.

Great cup of coffee. All though I'm still searching for the coffee that Ethiopia gave us in 2009/2010. Sodoma/Yirgacheffe So blueberry and fruity.

The roast was not listed in the description and as it turns out it’s far too dark. Price is a good value if you like a dark roast but stay away if you like your Yirgacheffe more of a medium roast.
