Bumbo Step Stool Black

I liked this stool so much, I bought a second one. It is a very sturdy stool, with the wide base and rubber grips making it virtually impossible to slip or tip over. It was just the right height for my toddler to get onto the toilet when we started with potty-training at 2. And now that he's 3, it's also the right height for him to be able to stand and pee. (We tried a different stool which was a little taller, and it made it harder for the little one to aim.)The only downside is that it wasn't tall enough for our little one to reach the sink too well. Maybe a two-step stool would've been better for that. But if you're looking for a safe, sturdy single-step stool, you won't go wrong with this one!

I bought this step stool recently so my 2 year old could reach the sink for washing hands and brushing teeth. There were so many options to choose from, but this one seemed to have pretty consistent reviews and the price seemed reasonable, so I went for it. I've been so happy with it, I ended up buying a second one so we'd have one on each floor.Things I like -- It was slightly taller than some competitors. Obviously not feet, because it's made for tiny people with limited step, but an extra inch or two makes a big difference when you're only 36" tall.- The base is wider than the top, which means it's very stable- Nice wide non-slip foot space, so my kid isn't falling off, even when he won't stand stillMy toddler loves being able to stand at the sink with us now. Paired with a faucet extender, he's able to wash up and brush with just a little assistance from me! He can also reach the lights (fun when you're not ready for them to be turned off), and check himself out in the mirror to comb his hair like daddy. All around a great little tool for fostering some independence.

This is perfect for a 2 year old. It is sturdy yet lightweight so they are able to easily carry it from the toilet to the sink without any help. The little rubber feet on the bottom keep it nice and sturdy when they are standing on it so there is no fear of slipping and falling.

This is the most cost-effective one I have found on the market, anywhere! It's lightweight but sturdy with the rubber bottoms and my little one can pick it up and move it if she wants to (Has a hole on each side for easy pick-up) The only thing I wish it had a wider top to where she can stand on it no matter how it is angled. But the horizontal design means she can only step on it and face the way the stool is facing. (sorry if that was confusing)Still, it is the best for the price ($10!) compared to the $20-$30 in stores which is ridiculous! Thank you for this product! I'm considering buying another one!

This is an awesome step stool!!!! I highly recommend. I was going to get the Baby Bjorn stool because it looked nice and simple, but reading reviews regarding potential stability issues scared me, especially because my two-year-old is a climber and jumper. This stool is SO incredibly stable. My son has launched himself off of it repeatedly, even from standing on the very edge, and it doesn't even move or wobble. I can't even believe it when I see it. It makes me relax about him climbing up on it because I know it's as safe as can be. He uses it to reach the faucet for washing his hands and brushing his teeth. And it's cute, kind of like elephant feet. Great purchase.

Got this for my son when he was 18 months old and starting to show interest in potty training. His interest in that area has since waned, but we still use this step for hand washing before and after meals. It's a great height for the sink, but just not tall enough for him to get on and off the potty on his own - and he's a big kid. When he tries to do it alone, he catches himself on the splash guard on the potty ring on the toilet because the step is not quite high enough. This is the only reason I gave it 4 stars. If it were any taller, though, it would probably have to be two steps, just for safety. But, it's very sturdy, has never slipped, and my son, who is now 2 (and still can't get on and off the potty by himself with this step) can and does easily move this step around the bathroom on his own. Great step for kids, except for potty training.

We bought this to help our toddler continue potty training and moving from the integrated seat with a step ladder, to just the seat and a stool. This item works exceptionally well, is very sturdy. It also doubles as a shower stand for our toddler and does not move even when wet. EXCELLENT!
