This was the perfect gift for some friends that were retirement at work. Since it's co workers its hard to know what they might want as a gift but this was perfect to make them smile and I put a little note and signed it inside the front cover to let them know I'll be thinking about them after they are gone.

Bought this for a retirement gift. I wanted to lighten the mood for the next chapter of my friend. It was a hit, the rest of the stories were just as funny as the sample. I was a little disappointed in the book I received as the corner of the cover of bent and crinkled up. All in all very pleased.

I purchased this as a gag gift for my boss. It is adorable and small. Perfect gift. It came in good condition and on time.

Price is good; mildly humorous but much of the material is old. I bought it for someone about to retire and after receiving it, decided it was not entirely appropriate for the individual. Some of the humor could offend a very sensitive individual. Probably buying used for very cheap would be better. Have already sold it.

I gave this book to my dear friend who just retired. The situations are real life and I find them very true from experience with retired friends and family members. It sort of reminds me of a Jerry Seinfeld stand-up routine.

Since my husband has retired I decided to read through this book with him. We enjoyed this and had wonderful laughs together. It pokes fun at both spouses and shows you in a sense what to expect once you look at each other day in and day out. Its a great book for anyone considering retiring or those who are retiring soon.
