I bought a birthday present for my nephew in November, but we only managed to unpack it in January. This means that a) they are convenient to store, and b) nothing happened to them, the product did not spoil (the expiration date is indicated on both packages). I want to note that the pink oyster mushrooms grow faster; we harvested from this box twice. The blue oyster mushrooms grow much slower; they needed much more time to grow, most likely due to the microclimate of the room where we grew them. In terms of taste, with proper preparation, they turned out to be very delicious! I want to thank the manufacturing company; this is a worthy, high-quality, and beautiful product. In the future, we will try their other products for outdoor use. I recommend following the instructions provided by the manufacturer for a more consistent and successful growth result,It's quite simple and easy to understand what to do and how to do it. The price of the product is fully justified.

This kit turned out to be such a fun and rewarding hobby! 🌱🍄 It was easy to set up and within days I started seeing the mushrooms grow. Watching them develop each day was surprisingly relaxing and gave me something exciting to look forward to. The pink oysters are beautiful, almost like a living piece of art in the kitchen, and harvesting them fresh feels amazing. It’s beginner-friendly but still gives you that hands-on connection with the growing process. For anyone looking for a simple hobby that combines a little science, a little gardening, and a lot of satisfaction (plus delicious mushrooms at the end), this is perfect. Highly recommend!

Growing mushrooms is fun, tasty, and educational if you spend any time at all learning about what you're doing. North Spore is a great company that I've purchased items from; they're practically mushroom Santa Claus'! These pink oyster mushrooms have the correct moisture level so that the block can show its functionality... producing delicious treats and interesting structures. Pros: -A tasty treat -Gorgeous -A great value; you get the function of food and education Cons: -Some people might have issues if they let the mushroom drop its spores; harvest and eat it before then! The functionality of the kit is never in question; they have always fruited for me and the people I've gifted them to!

I buy a different mushroom kit every year, and this one has far and away produced the most mushrooms. I bought it in December, and it is literally still going at the end of March. It's probably produced ten rounds of mushrooms. However, while that sounds awesome, these mushrooms are unfortunately incredibly bland and tasteless. They're unfortunately the worst pink oysters I've ever had, so I won't buy again.

Useless and waste of money kit. The mushroom had barely popped up and eventually dried up. These kits are just the waste of money considering how little you get for so much spent.

Was producing. Grew really fast. Got a few mushrooms of it. Unfortunately I had yellow oyster mushrooms that had gotten infested with bugs and the spore from the bad mushroom transferred and killed it.
