It does the job.
I have an old Hamilton Beach air purifier and this filter fits properly and it does the job. What I cannot find is the right sized carbon filter.

Not The Same Size As In The Past
I have purchased this filter 3 times in the past. Now it won't fit! Way to big! Returning it.Original Review: First time buying this brand. Fits my Hamilton Beach 04913 perfectly. Not and OEM but they are clear about that in product information. Appreciate that. Quality of materials looks good. Impossible to tell if it meets HEPA standards but from all appearances it seems to be a legit replacement product.

Fits my air filter
I have had a difficult time finding a replacement filter for my Hamilton Beach air filter - this one works just fine! I am so glad to finally be able to use my air filter again.

first purchase great fit. Second purchase wrong size in box.
2nd purchase: No longer fits 04163. I was very disappointed. This was a good filter before but the wrong filter was stuffed in the box. New one is 3/4" too large on width and height. If they every recarry the correct size I would love to purchase again. No way to reach company to inform them of the problem. I'd like to buy again but won't until problem is corrected. Happy to change the review if they reach out.OId Review: Because it wasn't a perfect fit I had to cut a foam sealing ring. But after that it worked very very well. 4-star

Product changed during my subscription - Does NOT fit 04163
For the longest time, this filter was fine, got it several times on subscription. Then it was out of stock for a while, then it changed to a larger filter that foes not fit my 04163 HB Fan. Since I stock up on these in advance, it wasn't until recently when I tried replacing old one and found out it is totally wrong size. other htan that, I love the fact that they are still making these.

Filter does not fit air purifier anymore
For some reason they changed and or are marketing this filter to fit the old Hamilton Beach unit which it does not.

Light chemical smell
Has a light chemical smell to it. Fits well, frame made of cardboard but strong enough to do the job.
