cosmic code: Book VI of the Earth Chronicles (Earth Chronicles, 6)

I love all of Sitchin's books
I love all of Sitchin's books. This was one of two needed to complete the 'Earth Chronicles' series. I'm a big fan of the 'Ancient Aliens' tv series and the whole ancient astronaut theory so this was a must. All of these are informative and he really did his homework. Like Erich Von Daniken, Zecharia Sitchin shared the same ideas, but from a slightly different perspective. Each on is basically a different culture or civilization like Sumeria or Egypt and their 'gods'. These are facts and science-not fiction.

A great work of fact or an interesting treatment of fiction
I read all seven of Zecharia Sitchin's Book and found them all very interesting until the Sitchin began to restate the same material over and over again --after a while it was like rereading a book you had already read. If what he holds out as fact in his books is true, the books are very logical and well written. The problem remains he tried to get to many books out of the subject matter he had.

Meh
Sitchen claims he can translate Sumerian scrolls which is doubtful. He does have a good imagination and his books attempt to fill in gaps in religion and also has a pseudo-scientific explanation. The fact that credited scientists say there seems to be another planet in our solar system makes his books seem even more believable.Good Sci-fi concept. Reading is dry and needs an audio version.

i would but from them again
I don't want to have a limit on how many words I have to write in a review, that is one of the reasons I don't take the time to do these on amazon.com. I have a lot to write and I don't feel like writing lengthy reviews on each of them. there for don't expect me to write anything about your co.

Excellent Book.
As I have stated in another review of one of the other volumes in The Earth Chronicles, Dr. Sitchin's books fill a niche too long ignored by other "scientists". His straight forward interpretations of the so-called ancient myths makes so much more sense than the products of the other researchers who act as lemmings in their writings.

Another good volume to his series
Sitchen knocks another one out of the park. I find the Ancient Sumerian "mythology" to be endlessly intriguing. Sitchen is never afraid to lay it out plainly (with heaps of research). Another good volume to his series.

Finally!!
This is not science fiction, and anyone who is deeply religious should not read Z. Sitchin's book, but anyone who has doubts about religion should read ALL of his books. What is missing in the Bible can be found here, and sit you on a whole new course and a new way of thinking of how this universe and our world really works.

Opening the mind
This book makes you completely rethink everything you thought you knew - or were told - about the history of the human race. Being an atheist, it also made me re-consider the writings in the bible - not as a 'christian/religious' history, but as guidance from a past and now lost source of wisdom. Always keeping and open mind and trusting 'yourself' to find your own truths......... Reality is what we create for ourselves; but if we have already been 'programmed' by society/religion/culture/education we must open our minds to 'other' possible realities. Fascinating

No Surprises for Sitchin Fans
You can probably tell by now from my reviews that I was pretty much addicted to this never-ending series. :)Same formula as the 12th Planet with much of the material revamped. If you have read the first in the series then you are not going to be surprised with any new revelations in this one.
