Lime Crime Velvetines Matte Liquid Lipstick, Elle, 2.6 ml, 816652020613

I was given one of these as a present and was wary as I have to be careful of lipstick because it can make my lips very very dry and sore. This one was fine. Lovely colour and easy to apply.

I was excited when this came in the post. I had only seen rave reviews about it, and am always after a lovely matte red.First impressions were that the packaging was gorgeous and pleasantly quirky with an 'irregular choice' vibe to the design.The first thing I noticed when i opened up the product was the smell... it is sickly sweet and a little unpleasant. Some may like it, but it just smelt too unnatural to me.The product pigment is absolutely astounding i've not seen another similar product as highly pigmented, however the smell was overpowering.It takes a fair while to dry, so I wouldn't advise this for a lip you just want to put on quickly and then leave the house... it'll take a good 5 minutes to get it how you want it.I'm not sure of the durability, though the finish is nice once set and not too drying on the lips.Overall it is a nice product, but certainly not worth the hype or the price.Hope this helps xo

Long lasting velvet matte finish liquid lipstick. Doesn't dry out my lips (but most lipsticks don't for me anyway). The colours are so vibrant! Best liquid lipstick I've used.

I ordered this lipstick to wear for my wedding. I love the colour and texture, but I'm not sure I'm going to wear it now because I'm thinking of going for a softer more natural look. The lipstick lasts for ages and still looks good. The only con for me is that after a while, especially after eating and drinking, it tends to get a bit scummy in the corners of my mouth. It also makes my lips feel a bit dry but I think that's because they are dry. Overall a great product that lasts very well and stays put.

How can anyone not love this product? it smells delicious, it's vibrant and it stays put for the whole day.I've heard people complain about "its takes too long to dry" ERM I don't know what you've been putting on your lips before you put the lipstick on, but if your putting an oily base on of course it wont dry because that's what takes it off. To me it dry's quickly and im a impatient person (I just make sure my lips are clean and dry and put it straight on) and it comes off really good using and oil cleanser im not sure about other cleansers.The only down side I would say about this product if your a perfectionist like me you have to get it dead right, before it drys. other wise it will dry and your lip line will be uneven. just have a play with it

Beautifully packaged and one of the most highly pigmented lip stains I've ever used, however I didn't feel like it lived up to the hype. While easy to apply, it takes a long time to dry and it just doesn't dry to the finish you expect. It also has sickly sweet smell of burnt caramel.I'll continue to use it but I won't be rushing out to try the other Velvetines in a hurry.

I've always used lime crime, but my first time ordering it from this account. Its fake not the real one because first the smell it doesn't have the fragrance as the real one , second the tube and brush feels cheap and so plastic light unlike the real one . I ordered 3 and was very mad

I have had a few velvetines before and this one seems a bit off. The lipstick does not go on evenly and rubs off much easier than my other velvetines. The lipsticks I got directly from limecrime lasts hours and never budged. This one comes off while using my mask.
