Love this carabiner... use it to help me climb up a tree that Im trying to cut. It does lach on the rope very well the only problem I have it keeps on hanging up on the strand of the rope, it can get annoying after a while when ur trying to climb down the tree and I keep on getting hang up. Im not a profesional climber sooo... it can get frustrating untangling the strand off of the tiny spikes. All in all Im pretty satisfied how it held me going up.

Bought to use while putting metal roofing on a 10/12 pitch. This worked great with my 1/2” climbing rope. I had zero issues using it. Locked on easy and stayed put. No slips. Would recommend.

I'm old, 77 to be exact. I must maintain a hill with a 100ft drop from slides during winter rains . The slope is greater than 45 degrees and has 10ft sections that are vertical. I use two ropes with one of these units on each to maneuver up, down and sideways while hanging and pinning matting to the hill. Without these units I would surely die in a fall. I love these units
