Top quality, at a reasonable price!

This clamp is a Revo Jr. It's mechanism is similar to the Bessey Revo, but somewhat smaller. While my Revo clamps move easily up and down the bar when open, this Revo Jr. is rather difficult to move -- frustrating when the glue is setting. When the clamp is in position, it is quite good at clamping, though, of course, not with Revo pressure -- which is not always needed. Besides, it comes in an 18" version, which the Revo does not. (OK, I'm not willing to cut down a 24" to 18"!) There is a technique to moving the head on the bar, but I haven't fully mastered it, apparently. Bottom line, it is a decent clamp, and 18" is a good length of some of my work. I'll stick with it, but with some frustration.

I never would’ve thought a parallel clamp could be so compact like these revo jr are. I’ve got the jorgensens & bremen brand already at 24”. They are massive & heavy! I’m only clamping up cutting boards & once you have to move your glue up around after its clamped down, it weighs a lot! Not with these clamps, I’ve been eyeing them for a while now. Perfect size for my needs at 18”, my thickness planer only goes up to 12.5” wide so my boards never exceed that width. Put some pictures to compare & clamped some pieces down to try & I love em.

I thought that they were a good brand . Unfortunately these clamps are not up to par. They are put together with cheep materials. I don't recommend buying them.

Product had clearly been damaged or used before. Clamp jaws couldnt be unscrewed because the handle wouldn’t even turn. Paint chipped off handle, clamp pads were cracked didn’t come with the stabilizing foot at the end. I have other Bessey Revo Jr clamps that are fantastic, the seller is definitely the problem here

Adquiri tres prensas "BESSEY KRJR-18 K Body REVO JR", una de las cuales tenía signos de haber sido anteriormente probada y devuelta por otro cliente. Estaba trabada y tuve que desarmarla con esfuerzo para poder abrir sus mandíbulas. Todas las partes de las tres prensas estaban completas, por suerte. Los plásticos se ven quebradizos y de muy mala calidad. Hay que sujetar las prensas con ambas manos al utilizar porque la mandíbula de abajo está muy floja y se cae (de más está decir que el plástico que hace de tope no durará mucho cumpliendo esta función). Había leído otras opiniones similares antes de comprarlas, pero creí que exageraban. Las prensas son MADE IN CHINA y se nota en todos los detalles. He comprado otras de la misma marca y la diferencia es abismal. En fin, le dejo tres estrellas sólo por el precio. Si estás dudando entre estas y otras chinas genéricas, quédate con la otra. Aquí sólo pagas la marca.

This was a gift to 14 year old boy that has taken up the wood craft his dad left him after he passed away. There was one thing missing and it was this particular clamp. The young man was ecstatic to receive it and has been using it to improve his wood working skills. Thank you for making this young man happy.
