I got this vest very fast. It is not as shiny as the demo picture. Its outer surface is full of coarse grains. I like soft leather but the leather of the vest is a little bit hard to me. On the attached tag, there is no information about the specious of the leather. By the way, the measurement of my waist is 38inch and the size "L" fit me tightly. I hope those information and reviews are helpful to potential buyers.

I normally wear a men's Med but for this vest, I took the other reviewer's advice and went up at least a size. It is a good fit. The arm holes are a little large and it is LONG but I wanted a sturdy vest that would hold my patches well and wear well. Not a bad deal all around.
