Does not extend far...
I have to use this box because it's what my ISP provided. While I haven't experienced a loss of speed I can tell you that anything that is not on the same side of the house as the box, and my house is only 1500sqf, does not get good reception. It is as if it's not able to distribute the Wi-Fi very far.

Great product with full remote ISP management
Product is very user friendly for local admin. Also it is has cloud based management for remote idps tech support. Speed tests are spot on. You have to disable your virus protection temporarily yo get accurate speed tests. Also if your subscription is 100/100 meg or close to it you need to be connected to 5g ac wireless network to test 100mg service. 2.4 wireless n network max speed through put is 30-65 meg because it only operates on 12 channels versus 250 channels on ac 5g network. Router does an awesome job with wireless coverage for most houses being installed in a central location. This 844g fiber fed router usually gets installed in a utility room or basement next to all the home distribution cat5e wiring. Thus usually needing to add a 804 mesh unit to extend wireless signal to opposite side of house or to second floor of house. Unit is capable of 4 mesh unit extensions but can only connect in a star topology. Meaning you cant extend an extender or piggy back your signal wirelessly. Ethernet ports are gig connections.

Fine for the gigabyte ports, awful for wifi
Gigabit ethernet interfaces work well. But, isn't that the bare minimum you can ask from a gigabit modem? The wifi is complete trash, it can barely cover one large room. Another solution for wifi is necessary unless you're in a very small apartment that wouldn't have more than 1 wall between the router and devices if it was placed in the center of the apt. I went with a cheap 3-router mesh system.

Some devices don't work.
Provided by ISP. Previously working devices (Ooma base station, Nintendo 2DS XL) can't connect while I'm sitting next to the router, even after adjusting the 2.4 band

Missing part
AC adapter is missing the part that needs to plugged into the power outlet. It’s completely unusable without this important piece!
