These don't fit tightly on rack.While preheating oven, they fell and landed on oven coils, FIRE!Very DISSATISFIED!

Ive used teflon rack guards for years with this purchase being my first try using silicone. Colors are beautiful. I'm older and it was hard to open the serration wide enough to encompass the rack. There were no wider teeth openings to allow for the perpendicular wire intersections. Pans do not easily glide over the rack shields when removing them from the oven. I'll use them, but would not recommend and would not repurchase.

I purchased these so I could clearly see the direction to put my racks into my dehydrator. They work great and are exactly as advertised. Of course they will also prevent burns :-)

I can’t count the number of times I have been burned by the racks in my oven. I am hoping these will help quite a lot. I have a set of wall double ovens and the shields cover about 3/4’s if the width, which is ordinarily the area my accidental touching would likely occur. They don’t interfere with putting a dish in the oven and they were easy to install. I think the bright color also helps you to see the rack easier so that you can avoid it. If they save me even one burn it will be worth it.

I just got these. I had another type that kept falling off because they didn’t fit well. These fit my oven very well and cling to the edge of the rack. I tend to get burned from oven racks. These will work very well to prevent that. Thank you!

This does everything you need it to BUT the bright orangey color makes me think something is on fire =[ and the color varied in the pkg (lite/dark orangey red). That doesn't affect the usage tho and they work fine.

I like the idea that it will protect agains burns, but I really want it for my daughter that she’s baking on her own and when we tested it is still really hot if she accidentally touch the rail she will still get burned maybe not as bad but I don’t like that it feels hot .

They were easy to put on for sure. That’s where it ends. You will not be able to just pull out the rack, you’ll need potholders. The only other thing is it will prevent those snarky burns on the top of your hand from the rack above; but its intended use DOES NOT work.
