Dorman 76874 Radio Knob Assortment Compatible with Select Models, 4 Piece

Perfect fit on my 2004 Tahoe. The radio knobs were beginning to show wear and the letters were completely gone from years of turning the knob. I only have a little over 100,000 miles on the odometer and the body plus the interior is still in good shape. Hoping the knobs will last another 20 years! The only problem I had was there was no instruction on how to remove the knobs. After playing around with the parts I figured out that the inner piece with the letters (i.e. Volume) must be removed first simply by prying it out. The outer ring that controls the volume you have to pull it out. Just remember the pieces must be align exactly the same way it was removed otherwise it will not go in correctly....Thanks

Four knobs were delivered, but only one fit my 2005 suburban. Description said it did. Bummer. Quality seems okay, but irritated that it said it would fit, when in fact it does not.

These do not fit every radio GM made, including at least one that DORMAN website says they will fit. Amazon is now popping up an extra window that says these only fit "UB0" RPO code (code for what radio is installed by the factory). (Look in your glovebox (usually) and the list of RPO codes is there for GM.) My code is UC6 (w multi-disk CD), and that little pop-up window didn't show up when I ordered these a few months ago. Dorman website lists UC6 as one of the radios these DO fit, but nope. The upper knob parts fits, but you have to reuse a couple parts from inside your old knob. One is round and very small and apparently can fly, since that's what it did for me. Also be aware there is a teeny-tiny blue plastic cover on the teeny-tiny LED light under the knob(s). The LED doesn't come out, but the teeny-tiny cover also flys pretty well when the knob is removed. The lower knob on the UC6 has nothing in common with the parts in this kit, except for the label written on it. I could find no instructions on DORMAN or Amazon that explained that changing the knob(s) was a little tricky. One step is to have strong flashlight to be able to find the parts that flew off. This is not your Grandfather's old radio knob.

It says it fits GM. I have a 2004 Chevy truck with OEM radio, and it does not fit.

When the black rubs off of the knobs on older trucks, like a 2003 Tahoe Z71 I bought new about 18 years ago, it is distracting, particularly on back-lit knobs. Instead of buying decals and trying to clean the older knobs or buttons and getting perfectly them lined up with the original letters or designs, these are direct replacements for some of the most frequently used, and often worn-out, broken or lost knobs and tuning rings. I was pleased they were available and at a good price.

Not as dicribed

The knob fit well enough. They look better that the old ones that had peeled and worn out. I was disappointed to see that the knobs would not light up at night when all of the other radio light are on. I only needed the VOL/PWR knob. The thru the other knobs in the package out.
