Too fine grained tea for a cake
The tea leaves in this cake are not comparable to what I have experienced in pu'er cakes. It's very difficult to get a piece out from it, using a regular tea pick. The end result is almost powder like, and very mediocre tasting tea. The cake came wrapped in a plastic without a wrapping paper. Beautiful item, but not enjoyable tea experience.

Amazing tea cake looks just as good as shown, tea is surprisingly good as well!
This is the most amazing tea cake I've ever seen, and looks just as good as the pictures. I ended up buying a second one because I just couldn't bring myself to break apart the first one after I saw how nice it is. I will say that I don't think this was intended for drinking, as it's insanely hard to the point that you might injure yourself trying to break some off. The tea itself is very good and tastes great, but has quite a bit of dust which may just be the result of how hard the cake is to break apart. I assumed the tea would be garbage and the cake was just a artistic gimmick, but it tastes very nice!If this caught your interest, know that the tea is excellent, but very hard to break down and a bit dusty. The cake comes with a shrink wrap and it may be better to leave this on if you intend to display the cake to prevent it from getting covered with dust. This is a very good deal just from a standpoint of the amount of tea you get, and the very fancy cake is a nice bonus. Be aware that this is not fermented puerh.Overall, excellent tea, awesome cake, but may be best to display than to drink. I would recommend a tea knife if you do try to break this down, so if you slip you won't cut yourself. It really is hard as a rock which they likely had to do so that the images would form correctly and stay intact. I considered taking off a start for the hardness of the cake and the tea being a bit dusty, but honestly for the price I think the 5 stars is deserved.
F**!
Terrible
Terrible, need a hammer and chisel to break this apart. Took 2 months to arrive , who knows where it was or what it was exposed to.
