How to Catch a Dragon

What a great introduction to Lunar New Year for kids! The inclusion of Chinese characters in the illustrations, and a Chinese translation makes this book even better in my opinion. It makes Chinese culture accessible while still fun. The plot is entertaining, too. Great job and highly recommend whether for teaching or personal enjoyment.

A great addition to any classroom or home library, especially for kids who love fantasy and magical creatures.

Love this book and illustrations!

The story is cute, the illustrations are fantastic but at the end of the book is the story again in English, and I think in Chinese and Mandarin. (Don’t quote me on the two other languages!) I love this!

These are my granddaughters favorite books. I know but them for all of my great nieces and nephews.

Bought this for my school library as one to read to classes during the week of Lunar New Year! Such a fun one! Slightly smaller than most picture books, but still a worthy purchase!

This is a really cute book. I enjoy the rhyming, the story, and the art. At the end of the book they have it translated in 3 languages (English and???), I wish they would’ve said what the other languages were.

Cultural appropriation as there are multiple inaccuracies regarding Chinese culture. For example, Chinese people don’t eat sticky rice, that’s Japanese!
