The paper itself is a beautiful matte-black meets kevlar-black looking color, especially when matched with a silver sharpie in a to: from:.However. This wrapping paper is incredibly hard to wrap. No mere simple tape holds this together. It’s sturdiness and durability are well worth the money if your gift wrapping capabilities are legendary. I refused to let it beat me and wrapped gifts worth one roll, but the second will be left alone.

I bought this paper to wrap Christmas gifts and I bought it in black.Something I really like is that on one side it is black and on the other brown, so you have a second option in case the black color is too much, the texture is very good quality, the paper is thick and it is a matte black, which I loved it. The package contains 2 paper tubes, it is possibly not very common to wrap gifts with black paper, but you just have to be creative how to use it.

This paper is beautiful, once the present is wrapped it almost looks like leather... HOWEVER....to get to that is a bit of a challenge. Very hard appear to work with, and tape doesn’t seem to stick on it all! Very hard to crease as well. I have another roll of it left, I will use it because I don’t want to waste it. Definitely would not recommend.

Amazing. My gifts stood out above all the others. Used a medium thick rope twine as ribbon with black name tags. Awesome.

Love the color of the paper.

Love the look of the paper. Getting the tape to stick for wrapping is rather hard as it doesn’t like to adhere. Wrapping with ribbon definitely helps.

No tape works with This paper. We even try heavy duty packing tape and didn’t work.

Non è possibile usare dei normali scotch per chiudere i lembi quando si confezionano pacchi con questa carta. La superficie esterna della carta non permette buona adesività e bisogna munirsi di scotch o adesivi più aggressivi (e meno economici). Peccato perché non è facile trovare carte regalo monocromo nero in giro.
