Excellent quality paper and cover. Bound really well although time is usually the only way to tell how well things like that hold up.As far as the description of the product goes, it's exactly as it says. Writing prompts at the top of each page to help you build your world. Imagination is obviously required.I mainly bought this to help develop the homebrew world me and my PCs are playing through at the moment. It's also a great tool for solo-ing.

Is a journal diary I don't understand what the people say on this reviews, the text reveal what is it a DIARY , is obviously that comes empty. Is designed for really fans of D&D is just for collection nobody says its essentials, it's beautiful and a perfect gift.

I was quite excited for this and feel a little silly for not doing more research.The prompts aren't particularly focused on building one world and some aren't worldbuilding at all and are instead character specific such as "Describe Your Last Critical Miss".Pretty much all the prompts are self-contained, such as ones which provide you with an existing concept such as "people in this world reincarnate into animals" and asks you to write about that.As a tool for building a world this is pretty much useless.But this book would be suitable if you're justlooking for a series of one-off writing prompts to get your creative juices flowing.

I bought this expecting it to help flesh out and craft a world. At best this journal indirectly shapes parts of a world with the greater focus being on 'you' (as in a character). This would be fine if I wanted a character building journal, but I didn't. I wanted something that would help me to fashion something wider than the experiences of an individual. Something that might assist me with building a world. Very disappointing.In terms of quality, the paper is nice enough, the cover is attractive and it has a decent number of pages. The prompts will probably help someone who has the vaguest concept of a character or wants to add more depth to a character they're creating. I'm not overly fond of the size, I'd have preferred something closer to A4, but it's a decent size for carrying around or taking to your D&D sessions.

So, what you get is a good quality notebook (always useful) with prompts on the top of each page that will help you think about and develop a character.So, why is it billed as a 'Worldbuilder's Journal to Legendary Adventures'? That title to me suggests it is a DM's tool to build a RPG world. Instead I think it's just a notebook for a PC, but without the mapping pages.

The different topics are randomly thrown into random pages of the book and with no order and no contents page, makes this book impossible to navigate quickly and I xan never use it in my games unless I rip out the pages and organise it myself but even then half the pages will be lost as it is Doubble sided. Terrible formation of a book, would not recommend.

It's basically just an overpriced notebook. Definitely not worth the money
