We live in a time where there is such a thing as a collapsible, travel tea kettle. What a time to be alive! This little beauty is a life changer for traveling. It fit nicely in a carry-on and we had no trouble getting through airport security. A full pot boiled in about 5 minutes and fit enough water for two 16 ounce cups (saving room for milk).Before using it for tea, I boiled plain water in it twice. Then I boiled a little white vinegar and water and then once more with just plain water. That seemed to do the trick because there was no plastic taste in our tea. Also, there were no funny odors when the tea kettle was in use.This kettle is an absolute must have for traveling! And for those of us with celiac, it's an easy way to bring a clean and safe appliance on trips.

I have always hauled around my big electric kettle when traveling. This kettle was perfect for my needs, took up so much less space. Heated my water quickly and was easy to pour. Packing away again was a breeze. Highly recommend

This kettle is so reliable! We originally bought it to take when we go away, as it folds down and packs well. However when we moved into our new house we used it for three months until I got round to getting a new one. It just just keeps working, we’ve had it for years and used it all over the country! More reliable than any ordinary kettle we’ve bought!

I tried several different travel kettles. This initially has a little smell with silicone however once you take care of it per instructions next day no smell. A little bigger and heavier than other kettles yet we like it as it will fill 2 13 oz presse coffee. It takes about 7+min to heat water. The only downsides of this kettle is that the fill lines do not show up clear so you have to end up feeling for it like braille to fine the levels. It would be great if the made the fill marks visible. Additionally when collapsing the kettle it does not easily fold up you have to kind of push the silicone levels in place… I tried it both with lid open and close same thing. Finally would be nice if it had a detachable electric cord vs notHowever overall we liked the strudiness of the kettle and plan to use it on our next trip

This little kettle worked great while traveling. The handle folds so it packs small-ish. The silicon is stiff enough to stay upright. Easy pouring with no risk of touching a hot surface. Pay attention to fill line as I didn’t check first time and it boiled over. Quick boiling and kettle contains enough for two cups.

I love this pot. Easy to store in my luggage to use in my travel. But please be careful it heat up that water really hot.

A friend recommended this and I took it on a 3 week cross country trip. Used it every night. It boils water quickly, stores very easily, and is so convenient.Note: the first one I ordered, the on off switch didn't work. Return/replacement was quick and easy

My wife and I are avid tea drinkers but hotels in the US typically don't offer kettles - just coffee makers. We bring this kettle on every single trip. It folds down relatively small and has enough capacity to make a large cup of tea for each of us with just one boil. If you travel and need boiling water, this is a strong recommendation!
