Hubby loves it!
Hubby has been getting pots of tea in a Chinese restaurant in Atlantic City for a few years now. He loved it so much that he finally asked what type of tea he was drinking. It was Oolong. Since he might want the tea in the evening, he asked me to find decaffeinated for him. No easy task. But this company offered it and we decided to try it. Since it's loose tea, he uses a refillable K-cup and makes it that way. The ancestors would roll over in they graves. He usually makes at least two cups with each fill and says it tastes just like what he gets in the restaurant. I'm very happy that I found this for him. We will be purchasing again.

Is it really decaf? I’m not sure.
Wow...I started drinking decaf tea a while ago because I noticed the regular tea was significantly keeping me up at night. But couldn’t find a decaf oolong. I got excited when I found this decaf oolong. And the flavor was very good. But maybe I got a bad batch, because I’m very sure this one isn’t decaf. Be careful if you can’t have caffeine. But it really is a good oolong.

Product completely changed for the worse
This used to be a delicious green tea with the typical oolong floral taste. I don't know what happened (the company did not respond to my questions), but in July 2020 my regular order arrived with a completely different product in the same packaging. It was a black type tea, not a very good one, and did not taste anything like the many oolongs I've had over the years, which have always been green and feature a similar fragrant taste. Oolong is in a class of its own, considered neither a green nor a black tea, but does ressemble one or the other. Typically, in the US anyway, it's a green type tea. I guess the company's supplier fell through and they ended up with this dark tea that does not have any of the prized floral taste that oolong is known for. FYI, neither the vendor nor Amazon take returns on this product.

A really nice tea!
This tea surprisingly strong for a decaf. I like a strong tea. If you don’t, you can probably use less to make it weaker. The leaves are in big pieces, not a powder like most tea. It doesn’t filter through my strainer like a lot of loose teas do. It has a nice oolong flavor.

Great tea-full flavor oolong with no caffeine
If you are an oolong fan that does not want caffeine, you have to give this tea a try. A bit pricey but it's as flavorful as oolong gets. I'm a long time Chinese tea fan and oolong and pu-erh teas are my favorites because of their aroma and smoothness to the palate along with the long term health benefits (no matter how slight). Caffeine is a problem to me, esp. in pu-erh. The decaf oolong is just perfect without the ill effect of over stimulation. I've had $400/pound oolong from famous tea houses in China, this oolong is just as good and without the caffeine. A must try for any Chinese tea lover!

Decaf tea is almost never good - this one is!
I will definitely be purchasing this again - great flavor for a decaf tea, and able to be brewed a second time (it does make a very light tea the second time). As decaf oolongs are extremely hard to find, this one is a keeper!

Satisfying smoky flavor
Best tasting, smoky flavor ever. I bought a stainless steel strainer just for this tea and couldn't be more pleased.

Was so hopeful but so disappointed
After filling my tea ball twice and allowing to steep in the same cup of water for over 20 minutes each, it is still the weakest most flavorless tea I have ever had the displeasure of using. The water barely changed color and there is a slight scent but it doesn’t even smell or taste like oolong in any way. Will never buy again.
