Really like how this lock works. very solid and matches our needs.We have returned the one that was purchased on Amazon, since we got defective one and got one directly from the vendor.

Was going to install the lock this morning. Open the box and the key cylinder portion was in pieces. Unable to install.

I installed the locks almost 13 years ago, give or take a few months. The locks still works fine, but the batteries died on the exterior garage door lock and I have to use the key to get in. the other lock mounted on the door to get into the house still has some battery life left and I'll probably wait until those batteries die before changing all of them in both locks.These locks are mounted to the doors of my cottage and I can only get up there about 3 time a year, that being said, the batteries in these locks have lasted for years.
