Great Replacement for Plastic Wrap
I’ve been looking into beeswax wraps to replace my plastic wrap and I’m glad to have found the Hunnybee reusable beeswax food wraps! So far (after about a week of use) I’m very pleased with my purchase. The wraps have worked well on glass, ceramic, and plastic dishes/storage containers. As mentioned on the package, they are quite sticky at first. They did leave a bit of a sticky residue on my hands and on the dishes but it’s not a complaint, as I think that is to be somewhat expected with the nature of the product. I’m grateful to have a more sustainable replacement for plastic wrap and foil.

Excellent way to preserve food without plastic wrap
These work well and are reusable, cleanable and then you can compost them when they wear out. The only downside is that they are somewhat sticky on your hands and it is very important that you not clean them in hot water, which melts away the wax that makes them work.

Definitely Reduces Plastic Waste!
We’ve used these wraps frequently over the past few months, and we’ve really noticed the reduction in plastic wrap use in our home. The wrap is actually sticky, and when you first open them, they are folded and they kind of peel off each other. They leave a waxy residue on your hands which don’t come off with water, BUT just rub them into your hands like a moisturizer and it disappears! Good for your skin too as it contains jojoba oil and the like.I use the small and medium sizes very frequently, and I’m contemplating cutting the large one into smaller pieces, as I only use the large one for loaves of bread or baguette. The wrap keeps the bread so soft, and prevents the bread from getting hard perfectly!I use a sponge, soap and water to remove any bits of onion skin from the wax paper, but to be honest, it doesn’t work very well. I sometimes have to pick off any stuck-on pieces with my fingers. When you hang to dry, the residue sticks on whatever rack you’re drying on. The wrap seems to absorb stains - I use one for red pepper exclusively since it’s now colored, but that doesn’t bother me. I now don’t use it for anything containing tomato sauce, just in case another one stains. After about three months or so of use, some of the wraps are not as sticky anymore, but it still use it to close my half lemons and tomatoes and whatnot and it’s fine. I love not using so much plastic!

Doing my part to save the planet
My niece introduced me to a similar brand. Rather than purchase another roll of saran wrap that would last another 5+ years with us and forever in the earth, I purchased these. I love them. It just took some time to adjust. I don't know what the wood things that came with them are though. My partner hates them, but is grudgingly using them. You do have to warm them up good with your hands for a good seal. Your hands get sticky, but washing your hands with soap and hot water takes care of that situation. I do have to scrub a little bit more when washing bowls and stuff I use them with, but again a little bit more elbow grease to take one more step to protect the planet is not big deal. I also love the cute patterns. I highly recommend this product.

Maybe not for humid climates
I got this about 1 1/2 years ago, hoping to reduce my plastic wrap usage. I found that even though they work okay, I really didn't enjoy their texture and stickiness. I also didn't enjoy cleaning them, so I only used a few of them a few times.Fast forward to now, as I was decluttering my kitchen... I decided to open the package and take a look at them. (I'd never even taken all of them out of the package.)I discovered that they had started to mold. You can see this in my pictures. I don't know if this is my fault for maybe not cleaning one of them thoroughly enough or if this is because I live in a tropical climate without AC in my kitchen. 🤷♀️Either way, I tossed them in the trash and sat down to write this review in case it would help anyone else out there in a humid climate who is thinking of buying these.I think instead of trying something like this again, I'll just get some bowls with lids instead.

Definitely a must have in your kitchen.
I never thought I would like a product so much, but this is so practical, it is very easy to use, wash and, above all, to store since it takes up almost no space, apart from the fact that it is an excellent alternative to plastic bags. Let's support the care of the environment!.

Great replacement for plastic wrap
These beeswax wraps work wonderfully. I just wish the pack had two of the largest size. The smallest size is almost too small. I use the medium size the most.
