Just what I was looking for. I would like to have a container for it so I could carry it in my pocket.

This sharpening tool (whetstone) is perfect for my needs. Some reviewers stated that the tool is too small -- and perhaps this is true for knife sharpening -- but for smoothing the edge of a silverpoint stylus it is ideal. Sometimes the tip of a piece of silver used as a drawing instrument is too sharp, resulting in scratchy lines or there is a "burr" on the edge. This stone smooths things out beautifully. In addition, it is the right size for my travel kit of supplies.

Just what I needed for quick sharpening at the bench

Perfect size

Received my stone and after running my finger over it would grade it as COURSE. Also, only one side was true (FLAT), the other had a ridge around the perimeter. While okay for garden tools I would not us this on a favorite pocket knife, preferring a medium, white or grey, Arkansas stone.

Just a few quick swipes of a clean utility knife blade on this pocket stone before putting the knife away while on the job keeps you from having to stop so often to change...discard...run out of blades. On a job, time is money. Off the job, time is the stuff of life. Also, blades may be cheap, but they're not free. Save a little time and money with this stone. Great for the tackle box to keep fishhooks sharp, too. Just be sure to keep it well away from the edge of the boat/pier/shore. ☺
