Average Performance High Price
I've had my LensCoat set for my Sony 200 - 600 for a couple of months now and used it near every day for an hour in the woods taking wildlife shots. It works.... beyond that there is not much good to say about it. There are areas that it does not fit well and other areas that it moves around or twists too much. Frankly I think that the very concept of using neoprene for a lens cover is questionable in that the fabric is not tear resistant and it will move around on you. I also have the LensCoat for the Sony 100 - 400 and that one is awful in fit AND function. The barrel that extends on this lens when you zoom in has to have a velcro piece added that makes the lens fixes and not variable at 400 mm. Back to the 200 - 600 LensCoat. I am replacing mine after only three months with another product and hopefully it will be a better solution. That makes the money I spent on this LensCoat product wasted.

Easy to install
Makes the lens have a better grip. Nice camp instead of a white flag (lens) waving at the birds. May help in light rain.

Producto excesivamente costoso para lo que es. Ojalá surja un competidor que ofrezca los mismos productos por un precio razonable. Fijan el precio con base en el artículo en el que se usa, es como si por una pijama para un carro cobrarán miles de dólares.

Good concept, but… durability and fit issues
Have this for almost a year now, Really wanted to like this product, have been using it almost daily for wildlife photography and it keeps the lens protected and gives you a better grip on the lens… HOWEVER… for the price it should fit way better, some parts seem too tight while others, for example the part with the “window” over the switches is way too loose and gets in the way when trying to move those switches (ended up taking that part off after a little while) and the biggest issue is it has been fraying pretty bad over time, and recently actually snapped or tore in one spot, probably going to happen to all the parts sooner or later…

Works, but it is very overpriced, probably because the equipment it protects.
I like the cover, I though it would be easier to install and maybe a little thicker material. I don't know what kind of protection it would offer to the lens, probably very little, like scratches or very soft bumps and no rain protection (no that I was expecting it). Something like this should be advertised more towards cosmetic than protection. At that price range is very expensive for what it is. I believe it should be priced at 75% discount to be acceptable. Someone in china will start selling this for a lot less soon enough. Its well made though, but if I had the chance to check it out somewhere before buying it, I would not get it.

Extremely poor fit
Very bad value for money especially given that you can't use any buttons on the lens with the cover on. On top of that the dial to rotate the collar also doesn't work with the cover on. Quality is alright but doesn't matter giving you're losing on lens functionality. Do not recommend.
