Samyang Hot Chicken Buldak Corn Flavor Ramen Korean Spicy Ramen (Pack of 5)

These originally tasted off, but over time I got used to them. I keep getting these since they're the cheapest and they just don't disappoint. The taste is much better than the smell. I read the ingredients for the sauce packet and it seems like red pepper seed oil is the culprit, but I may be wrong. Not sure why that was included as other sauce packets don't have it! Maybe by removing this ingredient the noodles will be more appetizing.

I got this for my spicy loving nephew. I starting on him when he was little by gradually getting him acclimated to spicy food. I love spicy and no nephew of mine is going to be a wimp. I started by dropping slices of jalapenos in his mouth when he napped. I slowly worked up to rubbing his eyes and hands with hot sauce. NOW...he eats ghost peppers for breakfast. He loves this ramen better than any other brand. It has a cute little chicken man in the package so it is easy to distinguish from the not-so-good brands. I am going to get all flavors and let him pick out his fave. It is a little more pricey versus the other brands but you get what you pay for. Bottom Line....buy it...its fabulously delish

Personally, it's not my favorite. They are tasty and I'm going to finish the package, but it's just not really my thing. The corn flavor is very strong. If that's what you want, you'll probably love these. I was kind of expecting the original buldak flavor with a hint of corn flavor, but they're basically just corn flavored. Other comments compared them to fritos and I kind of agree. It's like that artificial corn flavor you get in any corn chip. My personal rating would be about 3/5 stars because of my own taste, but I'm giving it 4/5 stars because it tastes literally exactly like it's advertised. Probably won't buy it again myself, but they aren't bad. I'd say just give it a try and judge for yourself. You might love these. Everyone's got their preference. P.S. As with any of the Samyang Buldak noodles, these are quite spicy. I'd say they're milder than most of the other Buldak flavors, but it's still probably very spicy for your average joe.

The noodles are good. If you LOVE corn, you’ll love this Ramen. I found the corn taste to be overwhelming. I normally eat the entire serving in one sitting. It took me 3 reheats to eat one package. I ended up not using the flavor packets that came with the other servings and made my own soup with gochuchang, chili powder, garlic and a little dark soy sauce. Probably the only Buldak ramen I wouldn’t try again. But

I was introduced to this by a friend of mine while i was doing a YouTube Stream where I answered technical questions while eating spicy food. Found this Corn flavoured one and it was amazing. I would highly recommend this to anyone who loves spicy Ramen.

Honestly, I didn't taste any corn. The noodles smell like corn when you open the packet, but when you put it all together, it's not good, the corn smell and flavor goes away. And because the sauce is so sweet, it kind of gives it a ketchup flavor. The other flavors of Samyang are so much better.

I was surprised at the texture and width of the noodles, and it feels good in the mouth! It is far superior to the ramen carried by my local grocery stores. I also loved how spicy it was (I mean really spicy). It's delicious, but the strong sweet corn taste will take a little getting used to; this has got to be the first sweet-tasting instant ramen I've ever had. I will be shopping for more Korean instant ramen but most likely a different flavor.

This was super delicious. Such a wonderful flavor and had a strong corn smell.

This flavour is VERY different from the others. The noodles themselves are made with corn so they have a different texture and flavour than the regular ramen. It’s a fun flavour!

Love this taste the best out of the samyang ramen series.
