Super low torque, gears break under minimal pressure
Bought two of the 2 RPM 12 volt DC gear motors and was surprised how small the units are. Both broke the internal gears upon first use. I wouldn’t trust these motors to work for movement of anything over a couple of pounds, if your project allows it, go with linear actuators

Cheap, and cheaply made.
Gearbox stripped within a week. Spinning a very light object for less than 1 hour a day in intermittent 10 minute blocks.

Complete Piece of Dangerous Junk
After less than one hour of use, the motor shorted out. The wires leading to the 12V battery lit up like July 4th sparklers. I am grateful I was there so I could protect my house from burning down.

Bad Motor
Motor drew 1/2 Amp with no load and got very warm. Had to return it for refund. Other motor from this vendor were ok and ran cool at around 70 mA. Probably a fluke. No issue with refund

Didn’t work when it shows up
Hoked the product to a 12v dc power supply and it dosnt do any thing asked for a return Amazon says no returns at this time

Maybe not worth the money
Have not used it yet, but if it is like the 2 rpm motor assemblies then it will be lacking the torque.
