Absolutely fabulous. Robust. No sludge. Easy clean. Stays warm. Cool outside to touch. Aesthetically pleasing to use. Makes 2 full mugs, 3 smaller coffee cups. Finally a decent press. Excellent quality and value.

I checked out coffee cafetières on Amazon some cheaper and others dearer but the Groenenberg was my choice and the many positive reviews of this model helped me in my choice. Fantastic quality stainless steel coffee cafetière. The moment I took it out of its carton I knew this was built to last. I used coffee percolators before but they never surpass the quality of the Cafetière. I like the additional three stainless steel filters that come with it so they will last a long time if looked after. I chose the two mug size but larger or smaller ones are the purchaser’s preference. I like the spout closure which will keep the coffee from cooling down too quickly but beware this is not air tight so if you are thinking of going on a hike it would be well advised to transfer the drink to a sealed flask. But this is for home. The main body (which is well insulated) including filters and attachments are dishwasher safe. The quality of this cafetière is excellent value and you get what you pay for, I’m sure their are higher priced cafetières out their but this one is all I ask for. Highly recommended. This French Press truly deserves five stars. The quality of the build is what you would hope for when you order a stainless steel French Press. Solidly built with a twin wall, it keeps the coffee warm for a good length of time. I dont normally give reviews but this product deserves a good review.

Stylish, solid, easy to use, easy to clean, great for one person, wont break (like my glass one!!).

A really nice cafetiere which has obviously been designed with care. Perfect for two mugs of coffee to get you going in the morning. No stray coffee grounds, no overflow spill of scalding coffee when you press downwards, it pours really well, and most importantly, it makes a really nice cup of coffee. Definitely recommend.

Well I have now owned this cafetiere for four years (it is now Nov. 2025). It is used daily to make my coffee to go to work, and my weekend brew. I do like to drink filter coffee, and since pods are so expensive this is the economical way to do this. I do have a large 6 person cafetiere as well, and this has already gone through one replacement glass. This Groenenberg French Press is simply excellent value for money. It has not worn or marked, and still on its first mesh. It feels quite heavy in the hand but in a good way, substantially made if you will. I put it in the dishwasher once a week for a though clean without problems. My only criticism is that the recessed lid area that you have to locate to the front before you pour should be marked in some way, it is not difficult to find and this point is only minor, but hey, nothing is perfect (though this is close). Final words, we got one for my son when he moved into his first house and he too loves it. Yes I would recommend.

I have had over the years several cafetière and being made of glass have always suffered breaking them. So l decided to give this stainless steel ago. I am very pleased with it. Well made and looks great. I note some reviews say it spills when you pushed the plunger down. My advice is to wait for several minutes then push the plunger down slowly. Just be patient. Well worth the money spent.

Coffee is excellent and keeps hot for a good while. I love that it can go in the dishwasher
