I recommend this bath toy for anyone with children!
This little bath gem is awesome! Such a "Euro" toy! My kids love playing with it in the tub. I even think that it's cool! If you cover the top hole with your finger while water is in the cloud, the rain stops...also, the cloud comes apart...my four year old threw it down and it came apart. I was scared that it was broken and then I saw that it snaps right back into place! It is a small toy for the price, but it is easy to clean and it is fun!

This is an awesome bath toy
This is an awesome bath toy! It's super sturdy, well designed, and fun for all ages. My then-7 month old was fascinated by the dripping "rain" and now at 9 months likes to bang it against his other softer toys. This is definitely a toy that will grow with the child. Younger ones can just bat it around and watch the rain come down, while older ages can figure out how to dunk the cloud to fill it up with water and come up with their own stories. Highly recommend.

I love this toy & I've given it to 5 or 6 of my friends as they have had children. The children have all been fascinated with it- first as they watch their parents operate it & then again as they learn to do it themselves. It is simple & very cute, yet endlessly entertaining. I really like that it opens into 2 pieces now (a previous version did not) for easy cleaning.

Great for Infant Stage
I saw this product review on you tube and decided to give it a try. I used the rain cloud during the first 3 or 4 months before my baby had good neck control. It was perfect for new little baby to sprinkle warm water on her head and wash amd rinse it off easily without getting it in the eyes. Its also super cute and makes bath time fun!

If I could hand an award for best bath toy of 2014, it would be for plui hands down!!
I have nothing better to do than to write reviews about bath tubs and bath toys at 3 in the morning because I truely do sweat out the details and research in this beloved and sometimes feared chore. My newest favorite bath toy is this. You submerge it in water, and it fills up perfectly. The size of the single hole on top of the cloud is perfect, and molded with pure smoothness. This is not a cheap watergun party favor from your kids' friends birthday. Those do not fill up well and you have to try all sorts of angles to see proper air bubbling. All angles work, but the best is simple no angle submerged. Same uniform size air bubbles pop up like a dance.Next, you cover the hole with one finger and wrap your otherr fingers around. You life it up, higher than your toddler's head, and then you hold your breath, releasing the finger on top.Downpour!Okay, more a steady sprinkle, but delightful and quickly the storm is over and you need to refill. To cleam or aerate: Squeeze on the sides of the cloud and a gap will appear at the centerline. Stick one fingernail from another hand in whilst squeezing in one hand, and pry it open. Voila. Lay open on a hand towel on a countertop. Dries completely in minutes. Is this patented? All bath toys need this mechanism. You'll see what I mean when you open it. No mold problems.Object is a thing of beauty snapped back together and displayed on my bathroom counter. My only wish for improvement? A way for it to click side by side to other clouds for a real stormy experience. Like those atom molecules toys you see chemistry students play with...

Nifty, well-made! Size makes sense.
Update (3 days later): my daughter has figured out how to hold the cloud so the water comes out. She sets it down, lets it fill up while she plays, and picks it up to let water stream out. She holds her other hand under the stream and goes "rain!" Now I'm grateful for the size and I added a 5th star.VERY well-made. The hole on top is so nifty, and it's great how it has a water-tight seal but is still able to come apart. Small for the price, but the size does make sense. You need it to be short, so it's easy to refill in a toddler's shallow bath water. I wish it held more water so we could have longer instances of rain coming down. Often, the water's all gone by the time I get my daughter to notice it. But she loves it, she grabs the water stream and says "rain!"

Awesome toy, but it does not open for cleaning.
I love the idea of this toy. It is enjoyed by the whole family. However, I have tried and tried to open it. Every time it starts to open, it pops back together. The last time I tried I got a bloody cut all the way across my finger (like a paper cut from the edge of the plastic). I'm going to stop trying to open it now and I'll just throw it away when it gets moldy. Children are not strong enough to pop the edges open so I don't think it is a safety risk. To be honest, the toy is so cool I'll probably just buy another one when this one gets dirty.

Nice packaging, looks exactly like the image provided
My baby is 12-18 months and loves this in the tub. He can't do it himself correctly yet, but loves to hand it to me to make it rain. Tries to eat the bubbles that come out the top when submerged. It is very durable hard plastic, a little bit bigger than the size of my fist. Nice packaging, looks exactly like the image provided. It generally floats so it isn't much worry when he throws it in the water, I worry a little when he throws it at the tub or me so I usually hold on to it when we play. It is fun to stop the ran by covering the hole at the top and then let it go.
