Review of Phlizon 2020 – 1000W Grow LightI purchased the Phlizon 2020 1000W grow light about a month ago, and after using it for approximately 10 hours a day, every day, I can confidently say it has exceeded my expectations.At first, I was disappointed to find out that this model does not include a Daisy Chain port, which means I have to adjust the lamp manually rather than linking it with other units. This added a bit more work to my routine. However, the manufacturer responded immediately, offered a sincere apology for the misunderstanding, and fully refunded my purchase as promised. I truly appreciate their outstanding customer support.As for the product’s performance, it has been excellent:The lamp has been running smoothly without any issues, delivering strong and consistent light output.I use it for a shallow tank aquarium, and both the aquatic and emergent plants have grown so vigorously that I’ve already had to transplant some.My fish and apple snails (Pomacea sp.) are reproducing normally, which tells me that all conditions, including lighting, are optimal and healthy.I was pleasantly surprised to find that the electric bill only increased by about $4.00 in the last month. That’s very efficient for a light with this intensity.It generates very little heat, which helps keep the system cool and stable.In summary, I highly recommend this lamp for its brightness, energy efficiency, low heat output, and especially the excellent customer service provided by the manufacturer. Just keep in mind that this specific model does NOT have a Daisy Chain connection, so if you plan to link multiple lights, you may want to consider a different model.That said, I plan to purchase more grow lights for future projects, and I won’t hesitate to choose Phlizon again.

Used for vegetative growth in a 2x2x4 tent. Performs wonderfully. Great light.

Good lights overall, spectrum good. Purchased same product 2 different times Jan2024 and Mar2024. one product was way better compared to the other. Different parts and on one item. the dimmer knob is junk. pics showing: off, clicked to on(no emitting light) & dialed to just pass #2 and light turn on. And the light turns off when trying to set to lowest setting. the other light with the silver ballast is 100% good, dimmer knob and all. Note: these cannot be tethered together, need seperate outlets and set dimmer knob seperate.

Strong light, works as intended. Comparable to spider farmer. Great price for the strength. Easy to set up, no noise from it. Plants growing well.

These are very bright lights and perfect for my seedlings. They have great coverage. I have mine on the ceiling because they are so bright my adult plants leaves started curling. Its weird because they are only 20 inches above my 1 to 3 month old seedlings and they love it. So far they are the best I have found for the price. I have not noticed a big difference in my electric bill and Im running 8 lights all day every day on high. My plants seem to do better under the lights than in full sun. The bonus thermometer is really nice. You can set it to warn you when humidity or temps get above a certain range. I grow Desert Roses aka Adeniums to sell.Update: I still love the lights but so far 3 out of 9 ordered have been defective. Two of them either stay on or turn on alone and the third just quit working period. After looking at it more closely I can see where the aluminum piece on the top had been removed and installed incorrectly. It was hanging on by two pieces of plastic screws. Had it not been sitting on the top it would have broke. I am sure I got a refurbished light. It wouldn't be so bad if I didnt have to have them right now or my seedlings can die or get stunted. Just one light less is a huge difference. Now I have to wait who knows how long for a replacement.

Great light that really does promote excellent plant germination and growth. I have purchased 6 over the past 9 months and all have been excellent and continue to provide great service. They run cool and have provided excellent results. Stringing them together with with the ethernet cord is convenientThe most recent light I purchased came with the ethernet cable but doesnt have a port to plug it into. Complained and the mfg replied that design has been updated and daisy chain feature deleted though prominently advertised in listing at the time.

The light delivers a full spectrum, and is thin and lightweight, and uses a lot less power than my previous white-light model. It is also adjustable from about 25%-100% of maximum brightness, though I do wish it could be tapered all the way to zero without abruptly turning it off. Even at 25% it was still too bright for my unique growing needs, and moving it far enough above the plants to reduce the light still further took up a lot of space. However, anyone attempting to grow ordinary house plants would not have that problem. In fact, it would be perfect for that. I also liked the fact that it was cool to the touch and didn't have any noisy fans at its lowest setting; though the metal plate did get hot enough to burn my fingers when I turned it on full blast.

I like how bright this light is capable of being. Have the light paired with a humidifier in a 2.5' x 4' enclosed space for my ferns that in the past have struggled during the winter. Doesn't produce excessive heat which is great! So far I am very satisfied with this product! Would recommend to anyone that wants a high quality light at a low quality price.
