Perfect holiday gift for girls and boys
Who doesn't love magnets? That's a rhetorical question. These magnets are colorful and the perfect size for all hands. Not the wimpy magnet strength you find in some toys. These have a nice attraction and work well in creating shapes. They are one of those fantastic educational toys that aren't boring. I enjoy playing with them as much as the grandkids do. My only regret is that I haven't purchased a couple more sets.

great toy for toddlers!
I got this as a gift for my 1 year old nephew. He loved it!!! I have worked in preschool for a long time and I had seen this product in schools. It is the first time I order it. The packing was excellent, the box came in perfect condition. The quality of the toy is great and seems durable. The pieces of the toy are the perfect size for little hands to hold and manipulate. The magnet is strong enough so that he could easily put them together.Really fun and a great developmental toy for fine motor, eye hand coordination.

Therapeutic fun!
I love these! I use them in my pediatric OT practice. They are a perfect size. It is true that they aren't well-suited to construction, as the magnets (while strong enough to hold any 2 pieces together very well) aren't strong enough to hold up to the weight of multiple pieces. This does not decrease the value of them for me, as I find the cylindrical pieces to be the perfect size to promote a good grasp pattern - particularly for a hand with increased tone. I can disperse the balls on the floor and motivate a child to hold a rod and reach with it to pick up the balls from sit, all fours, from tall kneel, prone over a ball, etc. Separating the pieces is a great bilateral task, and the pieces can be sorted by color!

Great Toddler toy!
We played with these at the state fair, my son loved them so I had to find them for at home! They come with a great box for storage, and work amazingly! He has had them since 6 months and has loved them ever since! They help with creativity and learning about magnets. I would definitely get the 60 piece though! It comes with curved pieces and more to play with

Magnetic toys -a good choice- recommend
This magnet set is a good choice for little hands (and mouths). Toddlers like to taste everything, but this set is safe for the very young. It’s a good learning toy to become familiar with magnets, and even fun for adults! I feel it’s a bit on the expensive side; wish there were more pieces for the $.

Grandma and grandson approved!
These are super fun! On one hand they are not strong enough to move much but on other hand if they are too strong kids may not like them because of how hard it would be to separate. My grandson is 2 and loves them so far. When they arrived his mom and dad were over and I bugged them to join us in the floor and they did! Next thing you know toddler is gone and grown ups are trading pieces to make cool things. These are worth the money to get the big set.

Very nice but EXPENSIVE for so few pieces
We have similar small sets picked up at garage sales, so I knew my grandsons would like these, but they are not really worth over a dollar for each piece!

Great building toy
I purchased this because of it's safety--the fact that the magnets would not be a hazard for a 2 yr old and the 5 yr old would like it. It turns out that the 5 yr old handles the set better. The younger child gets frustrated when trying to move the creations because they will skew and fall apart. But it's a great building set and, to me, far more fun because it's different.
