A fun, readable book you won't want to put down
This book grabs you from the get-go. It starts with a haunting, original story that could itself be made into a movie. It'll stay in your mind throughout the book, which felt more like stepping into an entire world than a novel. I was equally struck by the realness of the characters, the places. There were no "jumping cats," as they say in the film business -- every bit makes perfect, rational sense -- even the ghosts! The way the characters and story are woven together is mind blowing... Odd as this may sound, it read more to me like a symphony than a book.Once the love story took off, HOLY SCHMOLEY. you'll read faster and have an even tougher time putting it down. I thank Sirota for writing such a fun, readable book. It reminded me of the reason I first fell in love with reading in the first place -- no better, or cooler, escape. ;) Already eager for his next one.

A New Take on Walk-Ins
Sirota has created a blended genre ghost story-walk-in tale that has shiver producing moments side-by-side with moments of extreme empathy. Is there pure evil in the world? Is that evil strong enough to reanimate? What happens when innocent souls are trapped in place and cannot rest eternally?Sirota is a masterful story teller and Fire Dance confirms his spot in the horror/gothic realm of Dean Koontz and Edgar Allan Poe.

A real treat for horror fans
"Fire Dance" is one of the most frightening and suspenseful novels I've ever read. The "bad guy" in this novel is an iconic monster - a force of impersonal, violent evil. When sympathetically written characters are threatened by this monster - the tension ramps up to a point where I had to put the book down periodically and catch my breath. It's a thrill ride!

A Haunting Story
FIRE DANCE is an exciting, well written ghost story, rich in detail and authored by the legendary Mike Sirota. I barely paused to take a breath as I quickly turned the pages, and like a symphony by a classical master the book builds its tempo as it races toward the exciting climax. Don't miss this one. But don't read it alone in the dark of night unless you have nerves of steel. Highly recommended.

Great Read
Great book. Mike Sirota does a very nice job of developing his characters, story, and suspense. I generally do not read fiction, but I thoroughly enjoyed this book. The story starts off amazingly gruesome and continues to build suspense. The cover may scare away the faint of heart, but the story at it's heart is a love story, with a few friendly ghost, and one bad one. This book would make a good movie.

Uber creepy
This is totally the kind of book I can see getting adapted into a film I'm too scared to actually go watch...AWESOME HORROR. Real life settings plus creepy asylums equals me staying up all night to A: finish the book and B: protect myself from ghosts. Great read for horror fans.Plus, I love the cover. Every time I see it in my eReader it freaks me out.
