Bought for an 8yr old kid
Very good product. I bought for a 8 years old kid and I was afraid to be too big bike. However it’s a perfect size for this age. Speed is not a big concern son can easily manage that. Very easy to assembly and I feel quality in all materials used. I recommend this bike

Great first electric dirt bike!
Got it for our small 9 year old boy for Christmas. Its the perfect size for him and he'll have a few really good years with it. Im 143 lbs and I rode it and it went fast. My tall 5' 3" 13 yr old was able to ride it too at full speed. Assembly was really easy. All you have to do is put the handlebar and front wheel on (had my brother do it lol). It DOES NOT feel like a little ride on toy either. Great buy. Will update later if anything changes or not 😊

Great bike
So to start this is a cool bike my son loves it,made his Christmas wis come true. This bike was easy to put together and charge. He road it Christmas morning and had a blast. Then Friday afternoon came and this happened, the sprocket on the rear wheel just spins when the throttle is twisted to go. I looked this up and some people say it's common for these, there is a fix for it but I'm going to reach out to razor first seeing as I just bought this and they should replace the rear wheel at there cost hopefully they do. Other than that it's a cool bike

My son loves this little razor. We modified it and it goes pretty fast! One of his most favorite gifts ever! Hubby loves doing all the mods!

I received a bad battery, BUT Razor sent me a new one. 5-stars if the original battery works.
I bought this bike for my son's birthday. Assembly was easy and I followed all the battery charging instructions very carefully. I had my wife take it on a short 1 min test run before we gave it to him. I expected somewhere around 40 mins of ride time. He was incredibly excited when we gave it to him. He hopped on, rode for about 2 minutes and then the bike started slowing down. After 3 minutes it wouldn't even move in the grass. The bike had a Razor customer support phone number to call if we had any issues with it. They were easy to get ahold of and diagnosed the issue as bad batteries. She used the bike's serial number to check the manufacture date and was able to tell me that this unit had sat on a shelf for more than a year. The batteries have very specific charging instructions and they do require monthly charging to keep the batteries working at their peak performance. I was given some instructions on sending in my receipt for replacement batteries. I was able to complete that step from my cell phone. I was told the batteries may take up to 2 weeks to get here. They were delivered before the 2 week time period. The new batteries work great. They were a little awkward to install because there are 3 batteries wired together with pretty short cables. Besides the batteries being wired together, the installation is not challenging. It took me about 30 minutes. Moral of the story - If you buy this bike from Amazon, buy it before you need it. Follow the charging instructions and do a full range test before you give it to someone. This bike looks awesome. It's fun to ride. The build quality seems impressive at this price. The decent build makes the bike heavy for a small kid, It's nearly 100 lbs. I bought it for a large and coordinated 5-year-old. I am a little crazy for trusting him with it, but hopefully he's going to have fun with this bike for several years.

No warranty without paper copy of warranty card
Update: Replacement quit working after a month and a half. Used under an hour, 2-3 times a week. No accidents, nothing broken, just stopped working and does the clicking thing described in my original post. Original post: It stopped working on the first use after about half an hour. We recharged it overnight, but even on a full charge, it only clicks when the throttle passes each of the two speed levels. I reached out to Razor for a warranty claim, but they won't talk without the warranty number listed on a paper card that shipped with the product and was discarded after assembly. I don't know of any other product that can't be registered online using the serial number, so it went in the trash with the other packaging. Razor will not look up the warranty number using the serial or any other number, and the warranty number is not on the bike; it's only on the paper card. So, there is essentially no warranty without the small paper card. Fortunately, I can and will be exchanging the product through Amazon for the same model. Had this product broken after Amazon's return deadline, I would have no recourse. DON'T LOSE THE PAPER WARRANTY CARD!!! Otherwise, it's a good size for my boys (5 & 8). The 5 year old is one of the taller kids in class, but not the tallest, and he's pretty strong for his age. It's almost too big for him, but he's handling it well and is able to lift it on his own. It's probably exactly right for the 8 year old, and he's about average height. It doesn't go fast enough to frighten either of them (or me watching really), but it's plenty fast enough for them to love it. No faster than they can go on bicycles. However, because it's powered and heavy, they are required to wear a dirt bike helmet, not just a bicycle helmet. It seems well built and sturdy. It has functioning front and rear suspension and disc brakes. And it looks really cool. I've found other reviews and videos about the throttle and/or controller malfunctioning, which appears to cause the exact issue I'm having. From what I can tell, it's a $50 fix if you do it on your own and have the tools. But, I'm pretty shocked that Razor is trying to evade that by requiring a paper card for all warranty claims, using a "warranty number" instead of the serial number, and not printing a number on the bike that could be used to file a claim. I'll definitely hang onto that card when the replacement arrives.
